Door Panels Requirements (each door)
Maximum Weight: 26.5 lbs (12 Kg)
Minimum Panels Dimensions:
- Refrigerator Door Panel: 41⁷⁄₈" (1062.5 mm) x 23½" (590 mm) x ¾" (20 mm)
- Freezer Door Panel: 28³/₈" (720.5 mm) x 23½" (590 mm) x ¾" (20 mm)
For maximum dimensions, please review the following diagram.
Diagram Description: A diagram illustrates cabinet frame wall thickness (16 mm) and provides a table relating panel thickness (A in mm) and panel width (B in mm) to the required minimum panel radius (R1 in mm). For example, a door panel width "B" of 593 mm and thickness "A" of 22 mm requires a minimum radius "R1" of 2 mm. Another diagram shows a side view of a door panel with dimensions labeled: Width 600 mm (23.5"), Montage Position, X, B = maximum 594, maximum 105°, and a detailed view X with R2.

Install the Refrigerator Handle(s)
IMPORTANT:
- Verify panel dimensions before drilling any holes.
- For model-specific hole locations and spacing requirements of KitchenAid handle mounting, refer to Figure 1 and Figure 2.
NOTE: Figure 1 represents a (left-hinge) refrigerator door panel. Mirror the hole pattern around the vertical centerline for a left-hinge refrigerator door panel.
- Measure 'F' from the top of the panel and 'G' from the side of the panel. Mark the hole locations as shown in Figure 1.
- Drill a 5/16" hole in the 2 locations shown in Figure 1.
- Locate the supplied Screw and Handle Mount on the front side of the Panel. Attach the 3-prong tee nut to the back side of the Panel in the orientation and locations shown in Figure 1. Tighten until the 3-prong nut is fully seated but do not overtighten.
- Place the Handle on the front of the panel as shown in Figure 1 and tighten the set screws located on the Handle Assembly using the Hex key provided.
NOTE: Do not overtighten. Do not use impact driver.

Install the Freezer Door Handle
IMPORTANT:
- Verify panel dimensions before drilling any holes.
- The goal is to center the handle on the panel. Verify hole pattern is at center before drilling.
- For model-specific hole locations and spacing requirements of KitchenAid handle mounting, refer to Figure 2.
NOTE: Figure 2 represents a (left-hinge) freezer door panel. Mirror the hole pattern around the vertical centerline for a left-hinge freezer door panel.
- Measure from the bottom edge and side edge of the Door Panel as shown in Figure 2 to locate the bottom hole, then measure from the centerline of that hole (and side edge) to find the remaining hole location.
- Drill a 5/16" hole in the 2 locations shown in Figure 2.
- Locate the supplied Screw and Handle Mount on the front side of the Panel. Attach the 3-prong tee nut to the back side of the Panel in the orientation and locations shown in Figure 2. Tighten until the 3-prong nut is fully seated but do not overtighten.
- Place the Handle on the front of the panel as shown in Figure 2 and tighten the set screws using the Hex key provided.
NOTE: Do not overtighten. Do not use impact driver.

Install the KitchenAid Badge (optional)
Diagram Description: Shows the KitchenAid Badge labeled 'A'.
Peel the paper off of the adhesive backing on the Badge. Locate the bottom of the badge 3¾" (95.3 mm) from the bottom of the Freezer Door, and centered on the door.
Door Panel Installation and Alignment
Door Panel Installation (General)
Assemble the panel alignment tool by inserting the long arm of the main piece into the cutout of the smaller piece. Adjust it so that the base is at the appropriate height, aligned with the base of the surrounding cabinet doors. Use a screwdriver to tighten the panel alignment tool's 9.5 mm screw and hold it in place.
Freezer Door Panel Installation
- Mount the panel alignment tool onto the freezer door. Align the smaller piece with the screws on the bottom of the door, and slide it to the left. [Diagram shows tool placement and sliding action].
- Peel the protective paper covers off of the adhesive pads on each freezer door panel mount. There are two adhesive pads on each of the four panel mounts. [Diagram shows peeling pads, indicated by 'x 2'].
- At an angle, rest the base of the freezer door panel on the panel alignment tool. [Diagram shows panel being angled onto the tool].
- Slowly tilt the panel to attach it to the adhesive pads on the panel mounts. Firmly press against the corners of the door to ensure that the panel is properly attached to the adhesive pads. [Diagram shows tilting and pressing action].
- Attach the freezer door with panel by using only the upper 4 screws. Loosen the panel alignment tool's screw and remove the tool from the freezer door by sliding it to the right and off of the door. [Diagram shows attaching screws and removing tool].

Door Panel Alignment
- Align the refrigerator and freezer door panels horizontally by adjusting 4 screws shown in the figure. Once all adjustments are done, lock the screws. [Diagram shows horizontal adjustment arrows and 'x 4'].
- Align the refrigerator and freezer door panels vertically by adjusting side brackets with the help of a screwdriver to within 1 mm. Once all adjustments are done, lock the screws. NOTE: Do not use an impact driver. Secure screws by hand. [Diagram shows vertical adjustment arrows and '1 mm' indicator].
- After proper alignment, fix the remaining brackets. [Diagram shows attaching remaining brackets, indicated by 'x 2' and 'x 4'].
- Place the screw covers on all brackets of the refrigerator and freezer doors. [Diagram shows placing screw covers, indicated by 'x 4'].
