ES14 Electric Scooter User Manual
About Charging
To charge the ES14 electric scooter, first remove the rubber protective cover from the charging port. Insert the charger connector into the charging port on the scooter body. Then, plug the charger into a power socket. The charger indicator light will be red while charging and turn green when the battery is fully charged. It is recommended to power off the vehicle during charging or ensure it is in a non-operational mode. After charging, push the rubber protective cover back into place.
About the Battery and Charger
The ES14 electric scooter is equipped with a dedicated lithium battery and a smart charger. Both the scooter and its accessories have product identification numbers. It is forbidden to use chargers from other brands or use the provided chargers for other purposes. The company is not responsible for any damage to the battery or charger resulting from misuse.
Battery
The lithium battery can be recharged for at least 800 times, and over 1,000 times under normal circumstances. For the first use, charge the battery fully. The battery can be charged at any time without damage, even with frequent charging. If the scooter is not used for a long term, charge the battery every 3 months.
Operating Temperature:
Charging: 0°C ~ 45°C
Discharging: -20°C ~ 60°C
Charger
The dedicated charger has a built-in charging protection function. It automatically powers off when the battery reaches 100% charge. The charging time is approximately 5-6 hours. The warranty policy does not cover damage to the battery caused by water, collision, or other abnormal factors.

App Description
The associated mobile application receives regular updates with new functions. The following content is for reference; always follow the instructions in the current app version.
- Download the app by scanning the QR code or searching for "5thwheel" in your app store. Ensure you have the latest version installed.
- Open the app, complete the initial registration, and log in. Tap the "+" icon or the "Search Devices" button to add your scooter. Ensure Bluetooth and the scooter are turned on. Retry if scanning fails.
Special Note on Locking Function: The locking function prevents normal operation but does not prevent physical removal of the scooter due to its lightweight and mechanical construction. For theft prevention, park in well-lit, visible areas and use a high-quality lock.
Maintenance
Lubrication
Apply a small amount of white grease or lubricant to the folded part every six months. Check for loose screws every three months and tighten them as needed.
Battery Maintenance
Fully charge the battery before the first use. The battery can be charged anytime without damage. If not in use, recharge the battery once every three months.
Storage and Daily Maintenance
Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or humid conditions. Keep the scooter clean. Regularly check and tighten all bolted elements, including wheel axles, the folding system, steering system, and brake shaft.
Cleaning Recommendations
Wipe stains with a damp cloth. For stubborn stains, use toothpaste and a toothbrush, then wipe with a damp cloth. Do not use alcohol, gasoline, kerosene, or other volatile solvents. Do not use high-pressure water spray. Ensure the scooter is turned off, the charging cable is unplugged, and the rubber flap is closed during cleaning to prevent electric shock or other issues.
Routine Inspection
- Before riding, confirm the folding mechanism is locked.
- Check tire wear; contact an authorized dealer for replacements if needed.
- Ensure tire pressure is at the standard value; inflate if low.
- Inspect brake pad wear; contact an authorized dealer if it affects the brake system.
- Note that screws are self-tightening and may lose effectiveness after multiple tightenings.
- WARNING: Risk of Fire and Electric Shock. No User Serviceable Parts.
- Prolonged exposure to UV rays, rain, and elements may damage enclosure materials. Store indoors when not in use.
