6 Riding and Parking
Preparation for riding
- Select an appropriate riding place.
- Unfold the scooter according to the unfolding instructions and wear protective equipment.
- Ensure the steering system is correctly adjusted, all connection elements (like the folding system) are tightened and not broken, and the brakes and wheels are in good condition.
Riding
- Press the power button to turn on the scooter.
- Place one foot on the footboard and the other foot on the ground.
- Slide the scooter body forward to approximately 2mph, then gently press the right thumb accelerator. The scooter will move forward. Once steady, place the other foot on the footboard. The greater the angle of the thumb accelerator, the higher the speed.
Note: For riding safety, the scooter has a non-zero start mode. The accelerator is enabled only after the body slides forward for a certain distance.
[Diagram: Scooter moving at 2mph.]
Stop
- Under normal circumstances, holding the left brake lever will immediately cut motor power and apply braking. Greater force results in greater braking. [Diagram: Hand squeezing a brake lever.]
- In emergency conditions, step on the rear brake to simultaneously engage the electromagnetic brake of the front wheel and the friction brake of the rear wheel. [Diagram: Foot pressing on the rear fender/brake.]
4 About Charging
Important: Use only the specified charger.
- Remove the rubber protective cover from the charging port. [Illustration: Finger removing a rubber cover from the charging port.]
- Connect the charger. [Illustration: Charger cable being plugged into the port.]
- After charging, push the rubber protective cover back in. [Illustration: Rubber cover being replaced.]
1. Remove the rubber protective cover and insert the charger connector into the charging port.
2. Insert the charger plug into a power socket.
3. The charger indicator light is red when charging and turns green when fully charged.
4. The vehicle must be powered off during charging, or it may enter a non-operational mode.
Charging Status: Red = Charging; Green = Charging completed.
Operating Temperatures: Charging: 0°C to 45°C; Discharging: -20°C to 60°C.
