Safety Precautions
ATTENTION! IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS. Please read these instructions thoroughly before using this product.
Electrical Safety
- Always unplug the bed frame from the electrical outlet before cleaning or maintenance.
- Keep cords away from heated surfaces.
- Ensure air openings are free of lint, hair, and other obstructions. Never operate when air openings are blocked.
- Never drop or insert any object into any opening. Use only indoors.
- Cease use and contact customer service if the cord/plug is damaged, the unit is not working properly, or if it has been dropped or submerged in water.
Grounding Safety
- This product features a polarized plug for use with a grounded electrical outlet.
- If the plug does not fit your outlet, contact a qualified electrician to install a properly grounded outlet.
- Using adapters is not recommended unless the outlet's grounding is verified by an electrician.
- Unauthorized modifications may void the electrical warranty.
Warranty Warning
Do not open or tamper with the control box, motors, or hand controls (except battery compartment). This will void the warranty. Only authorized personnel may perform repairs.
General Safety
- For optimal safety, plug the adjustable bed into a surge protector (not supplied).
- This bed is designed exclusively for in-home use.
- It is NOT designed for hospital use or to meet hospital standards.
- Do not use with TENT TYPE oxygen therapy equipment or near explosive gases.
Important Safety Features
- Weight Fail-Safe: The control unit automatically stops all functions if an overload of weight is detected on the head or foot mechanism. Functions resume 30 seconds after excess weight is removed.
Weight Restrictions
Recommended weight limits:
- Twin/TXL/Split QN/Split CA King: 575 Pounds
- Full/FXL: 600 Pounds
- Queen: 650 Pounds
NOTE: Exceeding recommended weight restrictions can damage the bed and void the warranty.
Locking Caster Feature
If equipped with locking casters, push down the safety latch to lock. Lift to unlock. On hard floor surfaces (hardwood, tile), rubber caster cups or carpet squares are recommended under casters for stability, even when locked.
Radio Frequency
This device operates on 433.92 MHz and complies with FCC Part 15 Rules. It must not cause harmful interference and must accept any received interference.
Consumers with Pacemakers
The optional vibrating feature may be misinterpreted by some pacemakers. Consult your physician with any concerns.
Product Ratings
Lift motors are designed for intermittent use: not continuously for more than three (3) minutes over a thirty (30) minute period (approx. 10% duty cycle). Exceeding these limits may shorten product life and void the warranty.
The bed structure supports weight distributed evenly. Head and foot sections are not designed to individually support or lift the full weight limit. For optimal performance, enter and exit the bed in the flat or level position.
Children and Pets Warning
Dispose of all packing materials immediately as they can pose a suffocation risk. Prevent children and pets from playing on or under the bed. Children should not operate the bed without adult supervision.

Installation Guide
Note: Installation should be performed by 2 people.
- Carefully lift the bed frame unit out of the shipping carton with the top side facing downward.
- Assembling Bed Legs: Thread the 4 legs clockwise into the threaded holes in the frame. Tighten securely, but do not overtighten.
- Remove and extend the power cord from the frame. Ensure power cords do not obstruct any adjustable bed mechanisms.
- Remove plastic wrapping from the base frame.
- Carefully rotate the base frame over so the top side is facing upward. Avoid resting the frame on its side, as this may damage the legs.
- Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet. A surge protector is recommended.
- Hand Unit: Install batteries if required (wired units do not need batteries). Test all functions to ensure they are operational. Refer to Troubleshooting if the bed does not work.
- Return the bed to a flat or level position.
- Attaching the "Quick-Set" Mattress Retainer Bracket: Fasten bracket (B) to the foot of the bed base. Align the open ends of the bracket with the "Loop" Retainer Anchors on the bed surface and slide forward to secure. No tools or screws are required.
- Headboard Bracket Assembly (if applicable): Elevate the head of the bed using the hand control. Slide inner bracket (D) into the C-channel frame. Insert retainer bolt (G) with washer (I) through the C-channel and inner bracket, securing with washer (I) and nut (J). Repeat on the other side. Place outer bracket (E) onto the exposed square tube of the inner bracket. Insert retainer bolt (G) with washer (I) through outer and inner brackets, securing with washer (I) and nut (J), leaving loose for adjustment. Repeat on the other side. Ensure a space of 1.5 to 2 inches (38.1-50.8 mm) between the bed base edge and headboard brackets. Securely fasten headboard bolts (not included). Measure and adjust headboard bracket placement as needed.
- Place your mattress on the adjustable bed frame. Installation is now complete.

Troubleshooting
Symptom | Solution |
---|---|
Hand Remote LED illuminates and appears normal, but will not operate bed. | 1. Is the power cord plugged into a working & grounded electrical outlet? (A grounded, electrical surge protection device is recommended). 2. Test outlet by plugging in an appliance you know works properly. |
None of the functions on the Adjustable Bed will operate. | 1. Unplug the power cord. After 45 seconds, plug it back into the electrical outlet to reset electronic components. 2. Check if the Home Electrical circuit breaker has tripped and reset if necessary. 3. Check surge protection device or electrical outlet for working order by testing with a known working appliance. |
Head or foot section Function Key will elevate bed, but will not return to the horizontal (Flat) position. | 1. Check for obstructions around or under the bed that may prevent smooth operation. 2. Ensure the Head section has clearance from the headboard or wall. 3. Verify the distance between headboard brackets and the mattress is between 1.5" (38.1mm) and 2" (50.8mm). Adjust if required. |
