Product Overview

The Halo Bassinest Swivel Sleeper is a baby bassinet designed for safe and convenient sleep for infants. It features a swivel design for easy access and proximity to the parent.

Available Models: Essentia (3900), Premiere (3864, 3878), Luxe Plus (10809).

The Essentia model does not include an electronics panel.

Important Safety Warnings

FAILURE TO FOLLOW THESE WARNINGS AND THE INSTRUCTIONS COULD RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH.

Read and follow all instructions before assembly and use.
Inspect the Bassinest Swivel Sleeper for damaged hardware, loose or missing components, or sharp edges before each use. Do not use if any parts are missing or broken.
Discontinue use when the child can push up, roll over, sit up unassisted, or move out of the sleep area.
Never leave a child unattended.
FALL HAZARD: Do not use when the infant begins to push up on hands and knees or reaches 5 months of age, whichever comes first. Ensure the bassinet is securely locked on the base.
SUFFOCATION HAZARD: Use only the provided mattress and pad. Never add pillows, comforters, or other padding. Do not place additional objects in the bassinet. Ensure the pad is positioned correctly to avoid gaps. Place infants on their backs to sleep. Use only fitted sheets designed for the bassinet. Never use plastic bags or film as a mattress cover.
STRANGULATION HAZARD: Do not place items with strings around a child's neck. Do not suspend strings over the bassinet or attach strings to toys. Keep the bassinet away from window blind or drape cords.
INJURY HAZARD: Never place more than one infant in the bassinet. Never carry the bassinet with an infant in it. Ensure the sleep area is securely attached to the base. Do not allow children to play unsupervised in or around the bassinet. Always remove the child before adjusting height. Use on a horizontal, stable floor. Not for use in an automobile. Do not place anything to elevate the mattress.

Assembly Instructions

Adult assembly is required. Tools are not included for some models, but are included for others.

Remove contents from carton and discard all packaging. For some models, remove a wooden board affixed to the bottom of the base post using a Phillips screwdriver.
Attach legs to the base with provided screws. Tighten securely.
Assemble the sleep area by attaching railings to sidewall openings, ensuring they click into place.
Slide the bottom of the side walls into the opening in the base. Repeat for the other side. Ensure sidewalls click and are securely locked.
Fold the fabric cover over the sidewall and secure with the fastener strip. Fold fabric flaps over the top and bottom of the sidewall and attach using fastener tabs.
Install batteries (3 AA) in the Soothing Center if applicable (not on Essentia models).
Attach the Soothing Center to the sleep area and tighten securely.
Attach the sleep area to the base. Ensure no red stripe is visible on the post to confirm correct assembly.
Add the mattress. Ensure the sheet is washed before use. Use only the specially designed mattress and sheet. Do not machine wash the mattress; wipe clean with a damp cloth.
Add the Storage Caddy (if included) by attaching the hooks to the side wall. Do not attach to the front retractable sidewall. Do not store objects weighing more than 5 lbs (2.2 kg) in the caddy.

Adjusting Height

Place the bassinet next to the bed so two legs are parallel to the bed side and one leg is under the bed. Adjust height by loosening the adjustment knob. Fully tighten the knob before placing the child in the sleep area. Never adjust height with the baby in the bed.

Using the Retractable Side Wall

Unlock the retractable side wall by pushing the circular button on both ends. Gently push down on the front railing. The wall will automatically return to its upright locked position when pressure is removed.

Removing Bed from Base

Push and hold the release button while lifting to remove the bed from the post. Never remove the sleep area from the base with your baby in it. Never use the sleep area when not attached to the Bassinest base.

Using Storage Pockets

Pull the elastic band at the top of the pocket to open. Insert items for storage and easy access. Release to close. Do not store sharp objects or objects weighing more than 5 lbs.

Moving the Bassinest Swivel Sleeper

DO NOT attempt to move the Bassinest with your baby in it. First, remove the bed from the base or post. Move the base to the desired location and reattach the bed. Do not try to move the Bassinest Swivel Sleeper by lifting, pulling, or pushing the bed while it is attached to the base or post.

Soothing Center Operation (Not available on Essentia models)

Requires three (3) AA batteries.

(A) Nightlight: Press bulb button to activate. Press again for brighter light. Press a third time to turn off. Auto shut-off after 30 minutes.
(B) Music/Sounds: Press volume button to activate music/sounds. Press multiple times to cycle through sound options. Press volume button again to increase volume. Press a third time to turn off sound/music. Auto shut-off after 30 minutes.
(C) Nursing Timer: Press nursing timer button to activate. Green indicator light blinks. A tone sounds at 29 minutes, and the light blinks faster. Auto shut-off after 30 minutes. Press again to manually shut off.
(D) Vibration: Press vibration button to activate. Press again for higher vibration. Press a third time to turn off. Auto shut-off after 30 minutes.
(E) Floor Light: Press bulb button to activate. Press again to turn off.

This device complies with FCC Part 15 limits for Class B digital devices.

Care and Maintenance Instructions

Remove and wash the sheet before use. Machine wash the sheet in warm water with like colors. Do not use bleach. Tumble dry on low.
Clean the bassinet base, sleep area, and mattress regularly with a mild cleaning solution and a damp cloth. Do not use bleach or harsh cleaners. Rinse with water and allow to dry completely.
Store the unit in a clean, dry location when not in use.
Do not attempt to disassemble the particle board or remove lining covers.
For spills, spray a mixture of vinegar and water into the sides and wipe under the lining cover. Allow to air dry.

Battery Safety Information (Batteries Not Included)

Do not mix old and new batteries or different types (Alkaline, carbon zinc, rechargeable).
Insert batteries as indicated.
Remove batteries during long periods of non-use. Dispose of batteries safely.
Never short-circuit battery terminals.
Use only recommended battery types.
Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries.
Remove rechargeable batteries before charging.
Rechargeable batteries should only be charged under adult supervision.
