Introduction
The Climax Hybrid Security System is a wired and wireless IP-based smart home security gateway with LTE capability. It provides a customizable and robust system for commercial and large home applications, offering a comprehensive solution that includes home security, total visual monitoring, ZigBee / Z-Wave home automation, and energy management. This system brings all-round convenience, comfort, and safety. The product is EN50131 Grade 2 (when in wireless mode) or Grade 3 (when in wired mode), Class II certified, and INCERT certified.

Scalable System
The Hybrid Security System supports zone expansion by integrating wired zone expansion modules like the WEZC-8 Series and WEZ-12/24/36/48-BUS, as well as the hardwire-to-wireless converter, HWC-1 Series. This ensures flexibility and potential growth for the system.
The WEZ-12/24/36/48-BUS supports adding 12/24/36/48 wired zones to the system. The WEZC-8 Series, enclosed in plastic housing, supports adding 8 wired zones. These expansion modules offer flexibility during installation. The HWC-1 Series is designed to convert existing wired security sensors to wireless zones and can be installed anywhere, enabling the retrofitting of traditional wired security systems.

Smart Automation
The Hybrid Security System incorporates ZigBee or Z-Wave devices to create an integrated, comprehensive smart automation system, adaptable to lifestyle habits and enhancing security. Thermostats, lights, shutters, and electronic appliances can be turned on/off according to temperature settings, customized schedules/scenes, and/or security status. Users can easily tailor the Hybrid Security Gateway's services to meet their needs anytime, anywhere via a smartphone app and web browser.
Energy Management
The Hybrid Security System can integrate whole-premise energy meters to report household/facility electricity usage and ZigBee/Z-Wave power meter switches to monitor individual home appliance consumption. This power-saving system allows users to develop strategies to reduce energy consumption.
The system supports devices such as the PSM-29 Power Meter Switch, PRM-5 Power Meter & Relay Switch, EMD-1 Energy Meter, and POVS-1 PIR Occupancy/Vacancy Sensor.

The Hybrid Security System utilizes Climax's Security@2km Wireless Technology, delivering an RF communication range of 2 kilometers (1.5 miles), fast signal transmission, and relentless reliability. This technology has significantly extended the F1 systems' communication range and bolstered their reliability. The F1-generation systems offer an optimum combination of record-breaking RF range, reliability, and remarkable battery lifetime, designed to revolutionize the user's security experience.
24-Hour Emergency Monitoring
The Hybrid Security System can incorporate smoke/heat detectors, water sensors, air quality sensors, panic buttons, light, and humidity sensors to protect user premises and property from damage caused by fire, heat, water, or air toxins. This round-the-clock monitoring ensures comprehensive disaster prevention and quick response during emergencies.
Sensors supported include the SD-29 Multifunctional Smoke Detector, WLS-23 Water Leakage Sensor, PB-23 Panic Buttons, SDCO-1 Carbon Monoxide Detector, and DC-23 Door Contact.

Total Visual Monitoring Solution
Indoor/outdoor PIR cameras, PIR video cameras, and IP cameras can be incorporated into the Hybrid Security System for visual verification and real-time visual monitoring.
Supported cameras include the VST-1818 R3 IP Camera, VST-892 Camera PIR Motion Detector, and VST-892EX Outdoor Camera PIR Motion Detector.

Remote and Mobile Control
The Hybrid Security System can be accessed anytime, anywhere, via the Vesta Home 5 web portal or app. Vesta Home 5 enables users to control and manage the system through an intuitive interface, as well as receive real-time event reports and view alarm videos/images. Users gain a clear overview of the entire system and maintain full control at all times.
