Product Overview
The VST-892EX is a new generation outdoor passive infrared (PIR) motion sensor camera featuring an anti-masking function. This function allows for the detection of any attempts to blind the detector by placing objects within its field of view. With an installation height of 2.3 meters above the ground, the higher mounting position can better suit user needs. The camera also supports remote control of the double knock alert system and remote adjustment of sensitivity range.
The VST-892EX is equipped with a unique antenna designed for maximized receiver sensitivity, ensuring precise transmission and reception of signals. This results in an enhanced penetration rate, allowing users and installers to flexibly set up the device in large or complicated premises.
Featuring UV-resistant housing and waterproof to IPX6 standard, the VST-892EX is ideal for outdoor environments such as backyards, lawns, gates, outdoor corridors, and hallways. The combination of color VGA/QVGA images ensures that all details vital to visual alarm verification are promptly notified to users.

PIR Detection Range
Top View Description
The top view diagram illustrates the PIR detection range. It shows a fan-shaped coverage area originating from the sensor, extending outwards. The maximum detection range is indicated as 10 meters. The horizontal field of view is approximately 102 degrees.
Side View Description
The side view diagram shows the PIR detection range relative to mounting height. The sensor is mounted at 2.3 meters (Height: 2.3M). The detection zone extends downwards and outwards from this height, covering a horizontal distance of up to 10 meters. The diagram also indicates sensitivity based on pet weight: 60 kg for Low Sensitivity, 35 kg for Medium Sensitivity, and 20 kg for High Sensitivity.
