Overview
The Behringer XENYX 1002B is a premium ultra-low noise analog mixer offering optional battery operation. It features 2 state-of-the-art XENYX Mic Preamps, comparable to boutique preamps, and a neo-classic "British" 3-band EQ for warm, musical sound. The mixer provides 4 balanced, high-headroom stereo inputs, with 3 additional mic inputs. Each channel includes one post-fader FX send and one pre-fader MON send for external effects and monitor applications. Clip LEDs are present on all channels, with dedicated inserts on all mono channels. Connectivity includes main outputs, separate phones, and CD/Tape outputs. It also offers switchable phantom power for condenser microphones, long-wearing 60-mm logarithmic-taper master fader, and sealed rotary controls. State-of-the-Art Goes Portable
The XENYX 1002B is designed for portability, operating either via wall power or 9 V batteries. It shares many features with Behringer's larger mixers, including XENYX mic preamps for exceptional sound quality and phantom power for professional condenser mics. It includes 2-Track inputs and outputs. The mixer features 60 mm faders. Its four stereo channels accept left/right or mono 1/4" TRS/TR inputs, with three channels also accommodating microphones via separate Trim controls. The compact XENYX 1002B also boasts a musical 3-band British EQ and dedicated FX and monitor sends per channel, making it a versatile tool for any audio setup.
