Bosch Dishwasher Installation Guide
This document provides detailed instructions for the installation of your Bosch dishwasher. Please follow these steps carefully to ensure proper setup and operation.
Before You Begin
Safety First: Ensure the power is switched off before starting any installation work. Read all instructions before proceeding.
Tools Required: Typically, a Torx T20 screwdriver is needed. Ensure you have the correct tools for the job.
Weight Considerations: The dishwasher unit weighs between 2.5 and 8.5 kg. Ensure you can handle it safely.
Unpacking and Preparation
Carefully unpack the dishwasher and check for any damage. Remove all protective packaging materials.
Important Note: Do not pinch or bend any components during unpacking or installation. Ensure components are not bent (No doblar).
Step-by-Step Installation
Step 1: Mounting the Base
Refer to the diagrams for precise placement and securing of the base components. Use the provided screws (e.g., Torx T20) and ensure a secure fit.
Step 2: Attaching Side Panels
Follow the visual guides to attach the side panels. Pay attention to the orientation and connection points.
Step 3: Installing the Door Mechanism
The diagrams illustrate the installation of the door, including any spring mechanisms or hinges. Ensure smooth operation.
Step 4: Connecting Water Supply
Connect the water inlet hose to the water supply. The pressure should be between 0.05-1 MPa (0.5-10 bar) and the water temperature should not exceed 60°C.
Water Connection Details:
- Inlet hose length: 2.2 m
- Connection thread sizes: G3/4" and G1/2"
Step 5: Connecting Drainage
Connect the drainage hose to the appropriate waste pipe. Ensure the hose is not kinked and has a maximum vertical lift of 1 meter (max. 1 m).
- Drainage hose length: 2 m
- Maximum hose length: 4 m
Step 6: Electrical Connection
Connect the dishwasher to a grounded power outlet. The power consumption is typically low, but ensure the circuit can handle the load. Maximum power rating: 5A.
Step 7: Securing the Dishwasher
Ensure the dishwasher is level and securely fixed in place. Use the provided brackets or mounting points as shown in the diagrams. The unit dimensions are approximately 650 mm, 660 mm, 670 mm, 680-725 mm in height, with a width of 600 mm.
Step 8: Final Checks
Leak Test: After connecting the water supply, check for leaks after one wash cycle. Ensure all connections are tight.
Door Operation: Test the door to ensure it opens and closes smoothly and latches correctly.
Stability: Verify the dishwasher is stable and does not wobble.
Important: Do not overtighten screws (max. 10 Nm).
