Important Safety Instructions
Please read all instructions and safety information before installing your new fan. Review the accompanying assembly diagrams.
- Before installing the fan, disconnect the power by removing fuses or turning off circuit breakers.
- Ensure all electrical connections comply with local law and the national electrical code. Consult a qualified electrician if you are unfamiliar with electrical wiring.
- Make sure the installation site is roomy enough for the fan blades to rotate, with at least seven feet from the floor to the fan blades' tips.
- If mounting on a ceiling outlet box, use a metal outlet box secured directly to the building structure. The outlet box and its support must be able to support the rotating fan (at least 50 lbs). Do not use a plastic outlet box. Attach the mounting bracket using the ceiling outlet box's hardware.
- If mounting on a joist, ensure it is strong enough to support the rotating fan (at least 50 lbs).
- After installation, ensure all connections are secured so the fan won't fall.
- Do not insert anything between fan blades while the fan is operating.
- Turn the fan off and wait for it to stop before reversing the fan's rotating direction.
- To reduce the risk of electrical shock and personal injury, do not install the fan on a sloped ceiling and do not use this fan with any solid-state fan speed control device or rheostat. Install the outlet box using the provided steel screws and lock washers.

Installing the Fan
Installing the Mounting Bracket
The ceiling fan must be installed where there is 12" (300mm) spacing from the tips of all blades to the nearest objects or walls. Turn off the power before hanging the fan.
- For concrete ceiling: Drill two holes in the ceiling and secure the mounting bracket using two ⌀0.32" (8mm) expansion screws and flat washers. Tighten with a spanner.
- For wood ceiling: Secure the mounting bracket to the ceiling capable of carrying a load of at least 100lbs (45kgs) with two long mounting screws and washers. Ensure at least 0.12" (30mm) of the screw is threaded into the support.
- For installing the outlet box: Secure it directly to the building structure using appropriate fasteners. The outlet box and its support must fully bear the moving weight of the fan (at least 100lbs). Use a UL listed metal outlet box. Figures 1 and 2 show examples of mounting the outlet box.
- Refer to the figure for mounting when the ceiling is angled (Max. 15°).
Installing the Blade
- Attach blade brackets to blades using the blade bracket screws and metal or fabric washers.
- Assemble the blade assembly with the screws provided.
Installing the Fan to Mounting Bracket on Ceiling
WARNING: To avoid possible electrical shock, ensure electricity is turned off at the main fuse box before wiring.
Carefully lift the fan assembly onto the mounting bracket and rotate the fan until the notch on the downrod ball engages the ridge on the mounting bracket. This allows for hands-free wiring.
Make the Electric Connections
WARNING: To avoid possible electrical shock, ensure electricity is turned off at the main fuse box before wiring.
- Connect the fan to the remote control by inserting the fan's 3P plug into the remote control's 3P plug.
- Connect the remote control to the house's power line: connect the remote control's white wire to the house's white wire, the black wire to the house's black wire, and all the fans' green ground wires to the house ground wires. Secure all wires.
- Connect the fan motor to the lamp: connect the fan motor's 1P white wire to the lamp's 1P white wire, and the fan motor's 1P blue wire to the tool's 1P blue wire.

Installing the Light Kit
- Remove 3 mounting screws from the light kit.
- Connect the Molex connector from the motor to the Molex connector from the light kit.
- Install the motor's junction box with 3 screws and tighten the light kit.
- Carefully install the glass shade into the main body and turn it clockwise to lock.
WARNING: Take care not to overtighten when installing the glass shade.
Installing the Canopy
Loosen the 2 screws on the bottom of the mounting bracket but do not remove them. Raise the canopy and align the keyholes with the 2 screws on the bottom of the mounting bracket. Rotate the canopy until the screws drop into the slot recesses. Tighten the screws.
Operating Your Fan
Turn on the power and check the fan's operation. Speed settings for warm or cool weather depend on room size, ceiling height, and the number of fans.
- A. Warm Weather (Summer Time): A downward airflow creates a cooling effect. This allows setting your air conditioner on a higher setting without affecting comfort.
- B. Cool Weather (Winter Time): An upward airflow moves warm air off the ceiling. This allows setting your heating unit on a lower setting without affecting comfort.
NOTE: Wait for the fan to stop before reversing the direction of the blade rotation.
Remote Control Setting and Operation
- Restore electricity to the outlet box by turning on the electricity at the main fuse box.
- Remove the battery cover from the remote control transmitter, install the battery, and replace the cover. (Use two 1.5V batteries. Remove batteries if not used for a long period.)
- Remote control functions include controlling the transmitter, fan speed, and light.
Remote Control Functions:
- Light switch (On/Off)
- Three-color segmentation and light
- Brightness plus (+) / minus (-)
- Color temperature plus (+) / minus (-)
- Fan Forward/Reverse (F/R)
- Wind speed button (1-6)
- Timed 2 hours

Important: Pairing Between Remote and Receiver
Setup: Turn off the power switch or wall switch. Within 3 seconds after power on, press the setup button three times in succession; the light flashes to indicate successful setup.
Clear Match: Turn off the power switch or wall switch, press and hold the "SETUP" button, then turn on the power switch or wall switch. Release the button after hearing the beep; unset up is successful.
Important Notes:
- Pairing must be performed within 30s after turning on the power supply.
- When pairing multiple fans, ensure the isolation switch or power supply to the first installed fan is turned off before pairing further fans. Pair one fan at a time.
- Ensure the isolation switch is kept "ON". The isolation switch cannot act as a light switch, as this will impair the remote receiver.
- If transmitter functions are disabled, check battery orientation and power level. Low battery voltage affects transmitter functions and fan operation. Other nearby remote controls using the same frequency may interfere.
- Remove batteries from the transmitter if not used for a long period.
- Remote supports 100W maximum lighting.
Important Reminders:
- Receiver must be correctly installed on the fan's mounting bracket.
- If the transmitter cannot control the receiver, check the battery level.
- If the transmitter cannot control the receiver, check for similar remote controls nearby that might interfere.
- Low battery power affects transmitter sensitivity and signal reception. Replace the battery if its power is low.
- Remove the transmitter battery to avoid leaks when not used for a long time.
- Isolation switch must be connected in the line.
- After a blackout, the light will work normally after power restores.
Please ensure the fan is powered off before cleaning or maintenance. LED lights are not removable or replaceable.
Maintenance and Cleaning
- Check support connections, brackets, and airfoil attachments twice a year to ensure they are secure.
- Clean the fan periodically with a soft brush or lint-free cloth to avoid scratching the finish. The plating is sealed with a lacquer to minimize discoloration or tarnishing.
- (Optional) Apply a light coat of furniture polish to the wood blades.
- (Optional) Cover small scratches with a light application of shoe polish.
Do Not:
- Do not use water to clean, as it may damage the motor, wood, or cause electrical shock.
- Do not apply oil to the fan or motor, as the motor has permanently lubricated sealed ball bearings.
Note: Power off the fan before maintaining or cleaning.
How to Use Balancing Kits
Ceiling fans tend to move during operation due to rubber grommets. Movement of a few centimeters is acceptable and does not suggest problems.
To Reduce Fan Wobble: Check that all screws securing the mounting bracket and downrod are secure.
Balancing a Wobbling Ceiling Fan: A balancing kit is included. Follow this procedure:
- Check that all blades and blade arm screws are secure.
- Most fan wobbling problems result from unequal blade levels. Select a point on the ceiling above one fan blade's tip, measure the distance. Rotate the fan until the next blade is positioned for measurement. Repeat for each blade. The distance deviation should be equal within 1/8" (0.32cm).
- Use the enclosed blade balancing kit if blade wobbling is still noticeable.
- If wobble persists, interchange two adjacent blades to redistribute weight and potentially achieve smooth operation.
WARNING: Do not bend the blade arm while installing, balancing, or cleaning the fan. Do not insert objects between rotating fan blades.
Noise: Occasional small noises are normal, especially at night. Allow a 24-hour "breaking-in" period, as most noises of a new fan disappear during this time.
