This document provides installation and operational guidance for the Bticino Living Now thermostat.
Installation Overview
The following diagrams illustrate the mounting and dismounting procedures for the Bticino Living Now thermostat. Ensure all components from a single pack are installed together; mixed installations from different packs are not permitted.
Mounting Instructions
Mounting:
- Installation Height: The recommended installation height is indicated.
- Components: The base and front plate of the thermostat must be installed together.
- Anti-Tamper Screw (Optional): Instructions are provided for the installation of an anti-tamper screw to prevent unauthorized removal.
Dismounting Instructions
Dismounting:
- Component Removal: Diagrams show the steps for disassembling the thermostat unit.

Product Features and Operation
The Bticino Living Now thermostat features a backlit display and various control keys for managing heating and cooling systems.
Key Components and Indicators
- 1. Backlit Display: Shows current status and settings.
- 2. Fan Key: Sets the FAN-COIL fan speed to three levels plus automatic.
- 3. Lighting Sensor: Detects ambient light levels.
- 4. ON/OFF Key: Powers the device on or off.
- 5. FAN-COIL Speed Indicator: Displays the fan speed (three levels).
- 6. Temperature Setting Indicator: Appears during temperature adjustment.
- 7. Heating ON Indicator: Shows when the heating system is active.
- 8. Cooling ON Indicator: Shows when the cooling system is active.
- 9. Temperature Setting Keys: Used to adjust the desired temperature.
- 10. Window Indicator: Signals an active local contact (window) based on installer programming.
- 11. Thermostat OFF Indicator: Shows when the thermostat is in OFF mode.
- 12. FAN-COIL Automatic Mode Indicator: Indicates the fan is operating in automatic mode.
- 13. Bus SCS Connection Terminals: For connecting to the SCS bus.
- 14. Local Contact (Window) Connection Terminals: For connecting the window contact.
System OFF Mode: When the system is in OFF mode, it maintains a protection temperature of 7°C for heating or 35°C for cooling.
