About the Coffee Maker
Max. capacity: 300 ml (water + ground coffee) for approx. 2 cups of 120 ml each or 1 mug of 200 ml. We recommend 1 scoop of coffee (approx. 7 g ground coffee) per 120 ml cup.
Instructions for Use

Step 1: Heat Water
Bring water to a boil (100 °C) and then let it cool briefly to approx. 92 to 96 °C.

Step 2: Add Coffee and Initial Water
First, slowly fill the cafetière with part of the water. Important: Stir the water gently with a spoon ? while pouring so that the ground coffee settles as it absorbs the water.

Step 3: Add Remaining Water
Wait approx. 30 seconds and then pour in the remaining desired amount of water.

Step 4: Observe Fill Level
Do not fill the carafe beyond the "MAX" line.

Step 5: Press Plunger
Press the plunger down slowly and steadily. Do not use force! If you feel too much resistance, pull the plunger up a little, wait a while and try again. Allow 3-4 minutes for brewing.

Safety Warnings ⚠️
- Read the safety warnings carefully and only use the product as described in these instructions to avoid accidental injury or damage. Keep these instructions for future reference. If you give this product to another person, remember to include these instructions.
- The product is designed for private use and is not suitable for commercial purposes.
- The cafetière must not be used by children, as there is an increased risk of burns and scalding. Keep children away from the product. Always keep the cafetière out of the reach of children when it is full.
- Keep the packaging materials out of the reach of children. They pose several risks, including the risk of suffocation!
- Only use coarsely ground coffee, as otherwise the sieve may become clogged, which can generate excessive pressure when the plunger is pressed down. There is a risk of scalding!
- Never put the cafetière on the hob, in the microwave or over an open fire. The glass may shatter. There is a risk of scalding and cuts.
- Never expose the cafetière to sudden changes in temperature. Do not place the cafetière on cold, wet or sensitive surfaces when it is hot. Always place it on a heat-resistant surface/mat.
- Stir carefully and do not use any hard implements inside the cafetière, as this may damage the glass.
- Check the glass cafetière regularly for scratches, cracks and chips. Discontinue use if the cafetière is damaged.
- Before pressing down the plunger, turn the lid so that the spout is closed off to prevent hot coffee from splashing out.
- Always press the plunger down carefully so that no hot liquid is ejected from the spout. There is a risk of scalding!
- The cafetière becomes hot during use. Hold it by the handle only. Use oven gloves or similar protection if you wish to take hold of the lid. Risk of burns!
- Do not fill the cafetière up to the top. Do not exceed the MAX mark on the cafetière as this could cause hot liquid to spill out over the top when you press down the plunger.
- Do not use the cafetière for carbonated drinks.
- The lid does not seal the cafetière completely. Keep the cafetière upright so that the contents cannot spill out.
- Do not use any caustic, aggressive or abrasive products for cleaning. Keep sharp and abrasive items away from the product, as they may damage the surfaces.
- Tip: We recommend you drink the coffee within 30 minutes of preparation. The longer the coffee is left to stand, the more bitter it will become.
Cleaning Instructions ?
- Dispose of the coffee grounds with other organic waste.
- Wash the glass cafetière and plunger filter unit with warm water and washing-up liquid before using them for the first time and after every subsequent use.
- The plunger filter unit can be taken apart for cleaning.
- Allow the individual parts to dry thoroughly before storing the product away.
- Rinse the lid under running water.
- Store the empty cafetière with the lid open to prevent mildew from forming.
- The product – apart from the lid – is also dishwasher-safe. Take the plunger filter unit apart for this. Do not position the parts directly above the heating elements.
