Control light blinks red and multiple signals sound. | Was a capsule inserted during initial setup? Open the lever to let the used capsule fall into the container and release pressure. Repeat the initial setup as described in the "Setup - Before First Use" chapter. |
Coffee grounds in the cup. | A small amount of coffee grounds may remain in the cup; this is normal and not a defect. |
Drink is not hot enough. | Espresso, in particular, cools quickly due to its small volume. Preheat your cup with hot water, then discard the water before brewing. |
Water drips from the beverage outlet. | This can happen during heating as system water expands. |
Control light is solid yellow. | The machine needs descaling. Perform descaling as described in the "Descaling" chapter. Failure to descale may void the warranty. |
Lever cannot be pushed down. | Check if the used capsule container is full; empty it if necessary. If a capsule is stuck in the inlet, lift the lever fully back and push the capsule down from above. Do not reuse a deformed capsule. |
Rinsing phase of descaling does not complete; water tank is empty; control light blinks red and signals sound. | Fill the water tank with cold tap water to the MAX marking and reinsert it. Continue with step 12 in the "Descaling" chapter, "Rinsing Phase". |
