Soundbar Controls
Control Panel:
- ? Power Button: Press to power on / Hold for 3 seconds to power off.
- ?️ Input Mode: Press to switch channels: eARC, OPT, BT, AUX, USB.
- ? BT Button: Press to switch to Bluetooth channel and enter pairing mode. Hold for 3 seconds to disconnect the current device and connect to a new device manually on your mobile phone / PC / TV (BT ID: Nova S50).
- ➖ Volume Down: Decrease volume.
- ➕ Volume Up: Increase volume.
Remote Control Functions
- ? Power Button: Power on/off.
- eARC: Switch to HDMI eARC channel.
- ? BT: Switch to Bluetooth channel, enter pairing mode, or disconnect/connect new device.
- OPT: Switch to Optical channel.
- AUX: Switch to AUX channel.
- USB: Switch to USB channel.
- LED: Turn LED on/off.
- ➕ Volume Up: Increase volume.
- ➖ Volume Down: Decrease volume.
- ⏮️ Previous: Skip to previous track (BT/USB).
- ⏭️ Next: Skip to next track (BT/USB).
- ▶️Play/Pause: Play/Pause (BT/USB). USB mode: Hold for 3 seconds for loop playback.
- MOVIE: Switch to MOVIE mode.
- GAME: Switch to GAME mode.
- MUSIC: Switch to MUSIC mode.
- BASS MX: Adjust bass level.
- ? Mute: Mute/Recover volume.
Connectivity
Connect to Subwoofer
Connect the soundbar to the subwoofer using the provided cable via the SUB OUT port on the soundbar and the corresponding input on the subwoofer.
Connect to TV via HDMI eARC/ARC
Steps:
- Connect one end of the HDMI cable to the eARC / ARC port on your TV.
- Connect the other end to the HDMI(eARC) port on the soundbar.
- Press the "eARC" button on the remote control to select "HDMI(eARC)" input.
Notes:
- Ensure your TV's HDMI port supports eARC for Dolby Atmos audio transmission.
- Turn on the "CEC" function on your TV for simultaneous control of the soundbar and TV with your TV remote.
HDMI Port Types:
- HDMI IN: Standard input for audio/video signals.
- HDMI ARC: Supports two-way communication for audio return channel.
- HDMI eARC: Enhanced version supporting higher quality audio formats like Dolby Atmos and DTS:X.
Connect to TV via Optical/AUX
Option 1: Optical
- Connect the Digital Optical Cable between the TV's OPTICAL OUT port and the soundbar's OPTICAL IN port. Ensure the plug is inserted correctly.
- If audio is playing from TV speakers, mute or minimize the TV volume.
Option 2: AUX
- Connect the 3.5mm to 3.5mm Audio Cable between the TV's AUDIO OUT port and the soundbar's AUX IN port.
- Note: The soundbar's AUX port does not support audio input from the TV's AUX port if it's designated as an output.
- Remember to unplug the AUX cable when switching to other modes.
Connect to Bluetooth
Steps:
- Press the "*" button on the soundbar or remote control to enter Bluetooth pairing mode.
- On your mobile phone or PC, open Bluetooth settings, find and select "Nova S50" to connect.
Note: If already connected, press and hold the "*" button for 3 seconds to disconnect the current device and manually connect a new one.
Placement Options
The soundbar can be placed under the TV or at a similar height, ideally at or near ear level for optimal sound experience.
Wall Mount Installation
Follow these steps for wall mounting:
- Measure and mark the desired mounting positions on the wall. Ensure correct spacing for the soundbar.
- Attach the wall brackets securely to the wall.
- Mount the soundbar onto the attached brackets.
- Secure the soundbar in place.
Note: Use the HDMI Adaptor for easier plugging and unplugging of the HDMI Cable during installation.
