System Overview
The Ultimea Nova S90 is a 7.1.4 channel Dolby Atmos soundbar system designed to deliver immersive audio experiences. The system includes a main soundbar, a subwoofer, and two surround speakers, supporting Dolby Atmos, HDMI, and Bluetooth connectivity.

Soundbar Installation
Assembly Steps:
- Step 1: Set the two parts of the Soundbar on the same level and align the connection joints. Connect the two parts by pushing parallelly to combine as one piece.
- Step 2: Plug in the 8-pin Cable.
Connections
Connect to TV via HDMI OUT eARC / ARC
Step 1: Connect one end of the HDMI cable to the eARC / ARC port on the back of your TV.
Step 2: Connect the other end into the HDMI OUT(eARC) port of the soundbar.
Step 3: Press the "eARC" button on the remote control to select "eARC" input.
Notes:
- Ensure your TV HDMI supports eARC for Dolby Atmos audio transmission.
- For Dolby Atmos movies, set TV audio output to Pass Through (TV Settings > Home > Settings > Sound > Digital Audio Output > Pass Through).
- For DTS movies, set TV audio output to PCM (TV Settings > Home > Settings > Sound > Digital Audio Output > PCM).
- HDMI IN: Standard input for audio/video.
- HDMI ARC: Supports two-way communication for audio return.
- HDMI eARC: Enhanced Audio Return Channel, supports higher quality audio like Dolby Atmos and DTS:X.
- Enable the "CEC" function on your TV for simultaneous control of soundbar and TV (power on/off, volume).
Connect to Other Device via HDMI IN1 / HDMI IN2
Step 1: Connect the HDMI Cable from the Soundbar's HDMI OUT (eARC) port to the TV's HDMI IN (eARC / ARC) port.
Step 2: Connect an HDMI cable from the other device's (e.g., DVD player, game console) HDMI OUT port to the Soundbar's HDMI IN1 / HDMI IN2 port.
Step 3: Press the input button on the Soundbar or Remote Control to switch to HDMI IN1 / HDMI IN2 channel.
Note: Your TV HDMI needs to support eARC to transmit the Dolby Atmos audio format to your Soundbar.
Connect to TV via OPTICAL / AUX
Option 1: OPTICAL
1. Ensure the TV's port is OPTICAL OUT. Connect both ends of the optical cable to the OPTICAL ports on the TV and soundbar.
2. Insert the optical plug correctly; do not insert it upside down.
Note: If audio is coming from the TV speakers, mute or minimize the TV volume.
In Optical Mode: If there is no sound, try setting the TV audio output to PCM (TV Settings > Home > Settings > Sound > Digital Audio Output > PCM).
Option 2: AUX
1. Connect the 3.5mm to RCA audio cable to your TV's RCA AUDIO OUT port.
2. Ensure the cable colors match the TV port colors.
Note: Unplug the AUX cable from the TV and Soundbar when switching to other modes.
Connect to Bluetooth
1. Press the ? [Bluetooth] button on the soundbar or remote control to enter Bluetooth pairing mode.
2. On your phone, go to Bluetooth settings, find and select "Nova S90" to connect.
Note: If already connected, press and hold the ? [Bluetooth] button for 3 seconds to disconnect the current device and manually connect to a new device on your mobile phone, PC, or TV.
Pairing Subwoofer
The subwoofer is factory paired with the soundbar. Re-pairing may be necessary if no sound is produced by the subwoofer.
Step 1: Press and hold the "SUB PAIR" ? button on the remote control for 3 seconds until the soundbar displays "SUB" flashing.
Step 2: Press and hold the "PAIR" button on the subwoofer for 5 seconds until its white LED light flashes. The subwoofer is paired successfully when the white LED light becomes solid.
Note: The 'SUB OUT' interface on the subwoofer is a reserved port. An optional active subwoofer can be purchased and connected here for enhanced bass.
Pairing Surround Speaker
For optimal listening, ensure the switches on the back of the surround speakers are set to "L" and "R" respectively before pairing.
The surround speakers are factory paired. Re-pairing may be necessary if no sound is produced by the surround speakers.
Step 1: Press and hold the "SURROUND" ? button on the remote control for 5 seconds until the soundbar displays "SUR" flashing.
Step 2: Press and hold the "PAIR" button on the surround speakers for 5 seconds until their white LED lights flash. The surround speakers are paired successfully when the white LED lights become solid.
Placement Options
The soundbar and surround speakers should be placed at or near ear level for the best listening experience.
Wall Mount Installation
Step 1: Attach mounting brackets to the TV or wall.
Step 2: Mount the soundbar using the brackets.
Step 3: Mount the surround speakers using the brackets.
Note: Use the HDMI Adaptor for easier plugging and unplugging of the HDMI Cable.
