TABLET USER MANUAL

Attention: This handbook contains important security measures and information for correct usage of the product to avoid accidents. Please read the manual carefully before using the device.

1. Appearance and Buttons

1.1 Touch Panel

Capacitive touch panel: Used for clicking and dragging on the touch panel during operation.

1.2 POWER

Startup: Long press and hold the power button to enter the main interface.

Shutdown: In the main menu interface, press the power button for about 5 seconds to shut down. The system will display the "power off" option; click "OK" to safely shut down.

Lock Screen: Short press the Power button to lock or unlock the screen.

Remark: 1. When power is empty, the system will shut down automatically. 2. In case of improper shutdown, the device restart may take longer as it will scan and restore the disk.

1.3 ESC

Short press the ESC button to return to the last interface; long press the ESC button to return to the main interface.

1.4 Menu

Under normal operating conditions, a short press of the M button will bring you back to the home screen.

1.5 Volume

Use the buttons on top, "Volume +" and "Volume -", to adjust the volume.

1.6 Earphone Jack

3.5 mm standard earphone jack.

1.7 Video Output Interface

1.8 TF Card

TF-CARD slot: External T-FLASH card.

1.9 Mini USB

Mini USB jack: Used to connect to a computer for data transmission, charging, and external USB flash drive connection.

1.10 Reset

When the Tablet seems to have hung up or stopped taking commands, use a small object to short press the RESET button. The Tablet will be forced to shut down.

Remark: Unless actually unable to shut down, do not use the reset function, as this can easily damage the machine system.

2. First Use

2.1 Battery Management and Charge

Before first use, please fully charge the device's battery.

For charging, connect the adapter or USB interface to a power source. On the first two instances, charge the battery for about 6 hours; subsequently, 4-hour charging will suffice.

Remark: This tablet uses a built-in polymer battery. The charging device must be a standard adapter (Input: AC110~240V 50/60Hz Max:180MA; Output: DC5.0~5.5V/1.5-2.0A). This device can be charged without a DC supply using the USB interface. During charging, the battery icon will scroll. When finished charging, the battery icon will become green and stop scrolling. To prolong the service life, use out the battery power before charging it again.

Remark: 1. If the tablet is not in use for a long time, to avoid power consumption damage, charge/play the battery once a month. 2. When the battery is low, shut down the device, connect the DC adapter, and wait until the battery has enough power to enter the main menu. 3. While charging, keep the device in standby mode for faster charging.

2.2 Connection with PC

Use a USB cable to connect the device to a PC. The device will pop up the USB connection window; click "Turn on USB storage" to connect to the PC.

In load mode, you can copy or delete files on the device and the memory card.

3. Equipment Operation Interface

3.1 Main Interface Description

After startup, you will enter the main interface.

In the main interface, you can:

To manage main interface software ICONS: Long press an icon for 3 seconds. Once the icons appear bigger, you can drag them anywhere in the interface.

To delete icons: Long press an icon for 3 seconds, drag the icon to the Recycle Bin icon. Once it becomes red, release your hand, and the icon can be deleted.

Touch and hold the screen for a moment to bring up the dialog box "Add to Home screen" as shown below.

3.2 Status Bar Description

The status bar appears above the screen. The top left part displays the main interface software, T-Flash card, USB connection status, etc. The top right part displays the battery charge icon, current time, set time, settings menu, and ESC button.

3.3 Use Touch Panel

The device is equipped with a 7-inch touch screen. Tips for using the touch screen are given below. No matter which interface is on the screen, you can go back to the main screen by pressing the soft key [↩️] on the bottom right corner of the main screen.

Attention: The main screen soft key [↩️] functions as the machine's back key.

In different applications, by tapping the back soft key [↩️] on the bottom right corner of the touch screen, you can return to the previous interface. In different applications, by tapping the menu key [☰] on the upper right corner of the touch screen, the operation setting interface will appear.

In the main interface, you can touch an icon to open applications. In different browsers (file, music, video, pictures), you can shift or drag on the scroll bar to move up or down the file list.

4. Equipment's Basic Setting

Setting: Click the settings icon [⚙️] to enter the setting interface.

4.1 Sound and Volume Settings

Adjust silent mode, volume, notification ringtone, audible selection, and screen lock sounds.

4.2 Application

Manage applications.

Unknown Sources: Click "Unknown Sources" to allow installation of non-Market apps. Then navigate to Application > Manager and Uninstall Application.

Remark: For firmware upgrade, please close the USB connection.

How to Uninstall an Application:

  1. Enter Settings > Application > Manage application. The list of installed programs will appear.
  2. Click the icon of the application you want to uninstall; this will enter the following interface.
  3. Click Uninstall to delete the application.

4.3 Privacy

Factory Data Reset: Erases all data on the tablet.

Backup & Restore: Back up app data, Wi-Fi passwords, and other settings to Google servers. Automatic restore can be enabled when reinstalling an app.

4.4 Storage

Remove TF card and view available storage space.

Note: Please touch the "delete SD card" option to safely remove the SD card.

4.6 Language & Keyboard

Settings for language, text input, and automatic error correction options.

Language Selection: 54 national languages are available. Remark: The Android system can support 54 languages, but the menu interface only supports 14 languages.

Android Keyboard: Settings for the Android keyboard, including sound on key-press, auto-capitalization, showing suggestions while typing, and auto-complete.

4.7 Date & Time Setting

Set date, set time, select time zone, and select date format.

4.8 USB Mode Select

Choose USB work pattern: OTG/HOST/SLAVE.

4.9 About Device

View system updates, status of the battery, network, legal information, model number (97FC), Android version (4.0.3), baseband version (0.7), and kernel version (3.0.8+).

5. Apps Install and Manage

5.1 App Installer

This tablet supports Android apps from the market by third parties. Most apps can be installed over the network and copied to NAND FLASH or SD card. Click the App installer icon; Install, Manage, and Exit options will appear.

To Install: Click Install, enter the APK install interface, selecting between Internal Memory disk and SD Card disk. Select the APK you wish to install and click it to install. Returning to the main menu will display the installed app.

Remark: Some third-party apps must be installed properly via memory card; downloaded third-party apps may not install properly on the device.

Manage: Click Manage to enter the third-party application interface. Click the install icon to enter the Action interface.

6. Problem Solutions

Problem: Device cannot be opened

  1. Check the battery power.
  2. Connect the adapter first, then check again.
  3. If the device does not open after charging, please contact the supplier.

Problem: After startup, the screen or opening picture appears, but the device shuts down

  1. Power is not enough; please charge.

Problem: Headset cannot hear sound

  1. Please check if the volume is set to 0.
  2. If the file is damaged, it may lead to serious noise or skip sounds. Copy the file or play music.

Problem: USB connection issues

  1. Please check if the connection between the computer and the device is correct.
  2. Check if the memory storage space is full.
  3. Check if the USB cable is functional.
  4. Check if the USB connection is disconnected.
