Product Description
The MOES Smart Switch is a newly designed device that supports the Wi-Fi protocol and replaces traditional switches. It offers various control modes and features multi-control association with other smart switches via the Smart Life/Tuya APP. It is designed to suit different decorative styles.

Warnings: Turn off the power at the circuit breaker and test that power is off before wiring. Disconnect the power supply before installing or removing the device to avoid irreversible damage from electric current or unpredictable problems like lamp flashing.

Installation
Note: Ensure the power at the circuit breaker is off before wiring. A Neutral Wire is required. Confirm the wall box contains a Neutral Wire (typically white). If not, try another location or consult a professional electrician. Wire colors may differ from manual illustrations. Ensure wire conductors are securely fastened. Ensure a steady Wi-Fi signal before wiring. Seek professional help if you lack wiring experience.
Step 1: Turn off power
Turn off the circuit breaker and use an electrical tester to confirm power is off. You may need to turn off multiple circuit breakers.
Step 2: Remove the old switch
Remove the faceplate from the old switch. Use an electrical tester to verify power is off for all wires connected to the switch.
Step 3: Identify wires
Pull the old switch away from the wall. Identify the Line/Load Wire. Note that wire colors may differ from the manual.
Step 4: Take pictures of the wiring
Document the existing wiring connections before proceeding.
Step 5: Remove the panel
Remove the glass panel from the new smart switch. Do not install with electricity power on.
Step 6: Prepare wiring
Follow the wiring diagram to connect the switch wires to the wall wires using wire conductors.
Wiring Diagram Description:
- Live wire connects to the "L" terminal.
- Neutral wire connects to the "N" terminal.
- Lamp wire connects to the "L1", "L2", "L3", or "L4" terminals depending on the number of gangs.
- For a 1 Gang switch, connect the lamp wire to the "L1" terminal.
- For a 2 Gang switch, connect lamp wires to "L1" and "L2" terminals.
- For a 3 Gang switch, connect lamp wires to "L1", "L2", and "L3" terminals.
- For a 4 Gang switch, connect lamp wires to "L1", "L2", "L3", and "L4" terminals.
- A connection point for the Ground wire is also indicated.
Step 7: Mount the switch and install the panel
Put the switch into the switch box in the wall. Mount using the two side screws. Install the cover glass panel from the top.
Finish installation.
MOES App Setup and Wi-Fi Pairing
Download and Register/Login
Download the "MOES" Application from the App Store or by scanning a QR code (QR codes are excluded from this document). Register an account using your phone number to get a verification code and set a password, or log in if you already have an account. The MOES App offers enhanced compatibility compared to Tuya Smart/Smart Life Apps.
Wi-Fi Link Method
Note: The switch only supports the 2.4G Wi-Fi network. If you are connected to a 5G network, please disconnect it first and connect to a 2.4G network.
- Complete the wiring of the switch module before pairing.
- Select "EZ mode" in the app. Tick to confirm that the indicator flashes, and click "Next".
- Enter your Wi-Fi password and click "Next". Wait for the connection to complete.
- Select the device you want to add and click "+".
- Add the device successfully. You can edit the device name and enter the device page by clicking "Done".
- Click "Done" to enter the device page and enjoy your smart life with home automation.
How to Reset/Re-pair WiFi Device
Long press the switch for 10 seconds until the blue indicator on the switch flashes fast. The device will then start the network connection mode.
Multi-control Association
This feature is available for models requiring N+L wires. It allows multiple switches to control a single light.
Note: Ensure the switches are successfully added to your MOES App before association.
- Add another smart switch to the same MOES App. If a switch is already added, proceed to the next step.
- In the app, click on the main switch (e.g., a single gang switch) to enter its settings.
- Click the icon in the upper right corner, choose "Multi-Control Association", and then click "+" in the right corner.
- Choose the switch you want to associate and the specific button on that switch that will control the same light.
- Go back to the previous page. You will see your main switch and the newly associated switch listed. Ensure the associated switch is enabled.
- Now you can control your light with two switches. Do not associate another button on the same switch for multi-control.
- To add a third or more smart switches, repeat the steps above.
Voice Control with Alexa
Link MOES Skill in Alexa App
- Complete product networking configuration in the MOES App. Rename your device to an easily identifiable name (e.g., "bed light").
- Configure your Amazon Echo device if necessary. Ensure it is powered on and connected to Wi-Fi.
- In the Alexa App, navigate to "Skills", search for the "MOES" skill, and tap "Enable".
- Enter your MOES App account and password, then tap "Link Now" to connect your accounts.
Common Commands
Control your smart device using voice commands:
- "Alexa, turn on <device name>"
- "Alexa, turn off <device name>"
Warranty and Service
MOES provides a two-year worry-free after-sales service (freight not included). Do not alter the warranty service card. For service or questions, consult the distributor or contact MOES. Product quality issues within 24 months of receipt are covered. Personal damage or unauthorized modifications may incur maintenance fees. Warranty may be refused for damaged appearance, missing LOGO, expired service terms, unauthorized disassembly/repair, burnt circuits, damaged interfaces, or intrusion of foreign matter.
Recycling Information
Products marked with the WEEE symbol (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) must be disposed of separately from unsorted municipal waste. To protect health and the environment, this equipment must be disposed of at designated government or local authority collection points. Contact your installer or local authority for information on collection points and procedures.
