Important Safety Information

Danger to life: These headphones reduce the perception of external sounds. Do not use them in traffic or near dangerous machinery where auditory awareness is critical for safety.

Changed acoustic perception: It may take time to adjust to the sensation of wearing in-ear headphones. This usually diminishes with use.

Unit and Battery Usage

Use only a 5V USB 2.0/3.0 compliant power supply for charging. Do not expose batteries to excessive heat or attempt to disassemble them, as this may cause explosion or damage.

Using Your Headphones

Stowing in the Case

Always store your headphones and accessories in the provided hard case for optimal protection.

Selecting Eartips

Choose the eartip size that ensures a comfortable and secure fit for the best sound and noise isolation. Replace eartips every 3 months with regular use.

Wearing the Headphones

Insert the earphones into the left and right ear canals for a comfortable and secure fit.

beyerdynamic MIY App

Personalize your Bluetooth® headphones using the beyerdynamic MIY app, available for iOS and Android. The app helps manage acoustic impact from the headphones.

Operating Elements

Familiarize yourself with the remote control, volume buttons, multifunction button, USB connection, battery packs, microphone, and LED indicator.

Powering On/Off

To turn on: Press the multifunction button for 2 seconds.
To turn off: Press the multifunction button for 6 seconds.

Pairing with Your Device

Ensure the headphones are turned off. Press and hold the multifunction button for 6 seconds to enter pairing mode (LED flashes blue and red).
Activate Bluetooth® on your mobile phone or device and search for new devices.
Select "Blue BYRD" from the list to connect.
