Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the toy before being charged.
Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision.
Only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended are to be used.
Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable batteries.
The toy must be fully assembled in accordance with the instructions before operating.
Be sure to insert the batteries correctly and always follow the toy and battery manufacturers' instructions.

Important Notice: Do not use this RC vehicle in inclement weather. Both vehicle and remote are not waterproof.

Operation

Charging the Car Battery

Follow these steps to charge the vehicle's battery:

Make sure the RC Car is in the OFF position.
Use a screwdriver to remove the underside battery compartment door and remove the battery pack.
Insert the charging cable into the battery pack connector.
Plug the [USB Symbol] cable into a computer's USB port or a USB wall charger. A red light indicator should appear while charging.
Approximate charging time is ~2.5 hours. Play time will last approximately 20-25 minutes on a full charge.
Reconnect the Battery Pack to the Car and Close the Battery Door with a screwdriver.

Step 2: "Disconnect Battery Pack Carefully". Illustrates lifting the battery pack out of its compartment.
Step 3: "Note the Orientation of the Prongs". Shows the battery pack connector with its prongs.
Step 4: "Connect Battery Pack to USB Charging Cable to Charge". Shows the battery pack connector plugged into a USB cable, which is then connected to a [USB Power Adapter] or computer.

RC Car & Remote Control Functions:

Remote Control Layout:

Left/Right Turn: Controlled by a joystick.
Forward/Backward: Controlled by another joystick.
Power Indicator: A light on the remote.

RC Car Power:

The RC Car has an "ON" / "OFF" power switch located on its underside.

Remote Control Battery Installation:

Unscrew the battery compartment cover to open.
Lift the tab to open the battery door.
Insert 2 new [1.5V AA Battery] alkaline batteries (included) into the compartment.
Close the battery door.

Syncing the Remote Control with Your Brookstone® RC Vehicle

This vehicle uses 2.4GHz remote control technology, allowing up to 8 different vehicles to be synced to their own remote controls without wireless interference.

To Connect One RC Vehicle:

Ensure both the Vehicle and Remote Control switches are in the "OFF" position. Make sure no other 2.4GHz devices are active nearby.
Switch the Vehicle to the "ON" position (switch is located on the underside).
Turn on your Remote Control to the "ON" position. The remote control light should blink until it automatically connects to the vehicle.

To Connect Multiple 2.4GHz RC Vehicles:

Ensure all Vehicles and Remote Controls are in the "OFF" position. Verify no other 2.4GHz devices are in the area. Note: Each vehicle must be synced one at a time to avoid wireless interference.
Follow steps 1-3 above for each car, one at a time.

After a vehicle has been synced, leave the Vehicle and Remote Control in the "ON" position until all players are synced. Repeat the above steps if interference between vehicles occurs.

[1 Year Warranty] Warranty Details

BROOKSTONE Toys provides a 1-year warranty from the purchase date, as indicated on the purchase receipt. This warranty is supplementary to the statutory warranty rights in the state of purchase.

The warranty covers the function of the product. It does not include external damages due to normal wear, accident-related damage, misuse, or negligence. The warranty does not apply in the event of failure to observe the operation or assembly instructions. Any battery pack included in the delivery is explicitly excluded from the warranty. The validity of the warranty expires in case of improper use or tampering.

Scope and Application of the Warranty

All claims arising during the warranty period should be communicated in writing as per instructions below. Claims for lost products are excluded.
