The FYNDIG kitchen sink is constructed from durable stainless steel, designed to meet requirements for longevity and ease of cleaning.

Important Notes & Warnings

Please read the following important information before installation:

• Silicone Sealant: Silicone sealant is not included with the product. It is essential for preventing water from penetrating between the countertop and the sink. Ensure the cut edges of the countertop are properly sealed with silicone.
• Mounting Hardware: Screws or mounting fittings required to fix the sink to the wall or ceiling are not included.
• Choosing Fittings: Select screws or mounting fittings that are specifically designed for your wall/ceiling material and possess adequate holding power.
• Professional Advice: If you are uncertain about the selection of appropriate mounting hardware, consult your local specialized dealer for assistance.

Installation Guide

Step 1: Prepare the Countertop

Place the sink onto the countertop. Trace the outline of the sink onto the countertop, ensuring a 10mm (3/8") margin from the sink's edge. This margin is crucial for the cut-out.

Step 2: Drill Holes for Cutting

Drill pilot holes (Ø 1/8" / 3mm) at each corner of the traced cut-out line (4 holes total). Subsequently, drill larger holes (Ø 5/16" / 8mm) along the traced cut-out line to facilitate the cutting process (4 holes total).

Step 3: Cut and Seal the Opening

Carefully cut out the countertop opening following the traced line. Apply a bead of silicone sealant along the cut edges of the countertop to create a watertight seal.

Step 4: Position and Secure the Sink

Gently place the sink into the prepared opening in the countertop, ensuring it is correctly aligned. Secure the sink from underneath using the provided mounting clips. Depending on the specific sink configuration, you will use either 12 clips or 8 clips. Fasten these clips using screws of appropriate length (28-40 mm / 1 1/8 - 1 5/8") that are suitable for your countertop material.

Step 5: Connect Plumbing

Install the mixer tap and the water trap (such as the LILLVIKEN trap) following their respective installation instructions. Ensure all plumbing connections are tight and secure.
