In-app Setup
- Make sure your Ring Alarm is disarmed.
- In the Ring app, tap Set Up a Device and find the Keypad in the Security Devices menu.
- Follow the in-app instructions to complete setup.
Installation
- Choose a convenient location so you can arm and disarm easily as you come and go.
- You can rest the Keypad on a flat surface or install it on a wall with the bracket and screws provided.
- The Keypad works whether plugged in or running on the rechargeable battery.
Charge the Keypad using the power adapter and USB cable provided. If you're planning to use the Keypad unplugged, you should fully charge it first.

Placement
The document includes a floor plan suggesting placement for the Ring Keypad within a home. The recommended location is in the main living area, near an entrance, to facilitate easy arming and disarming.
