Installation Steps

Step 1a: Drilling the Hole

Drill a hole in the base material with the specified drill bit diameter (d₀) and depth (h₁). Ensure the drill is held at a 90° angle to the surface.

Step 1b: Cleaning the Hole

Clean the drilled hole thoroughly using a brush and compressed air (minimum 6 bar / 90 psi). Repeat cleaning until the hole is free of dust.

Step 1c: Inserting the Anchor

Insert the HSL4-G anchor into the prepared hole. Ensure the anchor is fully seated.

Step 2a: Inserting Bolt and Nut

Place the fixture onto the anchor stud. Insert the nut onto the stud. Gently tap the anchor with a hammer (?) if necessary to ensure it is fully seated. Warning: Wear eye protection (?️).

Step 2b: Initial Tightening

Tighten the nut onto the anchor stud.

Step 3: Final Tightening

Tighten the nut to the specified installation torque (T_inst) using a calibrated torque wrench (?). The distance 'a' indicates the correct tightening range.

Step 4: Installation Check

Verify the installation. The anchor should be properly set.
