bba™ & bba™2 Connection: Documented separately. bba™ is integrated into graphic display panels (TP800, TP900, spaTouch™). For TP600/TP500/TP400/TP200, use the “BT” menu entry to toggle bba™ power On/Off. bba™2 is integrated into graphic display panels (TP800, TP900, spaTouch™). For TP600/TP500/TP400/TP200, use the “BT” menu entry to toggle bba™2 power On/Off.

Basic Functions Setup 1 - 7

Power Requirements:

Note: 120V spec applies only when using a wall-mount GFCI/breaker. With a GFCI cord, the breaker is 15A, limiting service to 12A.

HiPot Testing Note: Disconnect slip terminal with green wires from J6 prior to performing HiPot test. Failure to disconnect may cause a false failure. Reconnect terminal to J6 after successful completion.

Frequency Note: BP systems automatically detect 50Hz vs 60Hz. Power frequency is one of many differences between North American (UL) and CE power, requiring different BP systems for different territories. Some countries use CE power with 60Hz (e.g., South Korea), and some use UL power with 50Hz.

Fixed-function DIP Switches

A2 and A3 Combination: Determine the number of high-speed devices/blowers before heater disablement. A2/A3 ON allows up to 3 high-speed pumps (or two HS Pumps and Blower) simultaneously. Heat is disabled when the fourth high-speed pump or blower is turned on. Note: A2/A3 all off = No heat with any high-speed pump or blower.

Assignable DIP Switches

Undesignated switches are not assigned a function.

Jumper Definitions

Warning: Incorrect DIP switch or jumper settings can cause abnormal system behavior or component damage. Refer to wiring diagrams for correct settings. Contact Balboa for additional configuration pages.
