This guide provides instructions for the installation and assembly of the ACT AC8305, a versatile desk mount designed to securely hold one monitor and one laptop. It offers adjustable positioning for an ergonomic and organized workspace.
Safety Precautions and Important Information
CAUTION: Using this product with equipment heavier than the indicated weight limits may result in instability and potential injury. Mounts must be attached as specified in the assembly instructions. Improper installation can lead to damage or serious personal injury. Ensure that the supporting surface will safely support the combined weight of the equipment and all attached hardware and components. Use the mounting screws provided and DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN them. This product contains small items that could be a choking hazard if swallowed; keep these items away from children. This product is intended for indoor use only. Using this product outdoors could lead to product failure and injury.
IMPORTANT: Before installation, ensure that you have received all parts according to the component checklist.
MAINTENANCE: Check that the bracket is secure and safe to use at regular intervals (at least every three months).

Assembly Instructions
Step 1: Assemble Pole and Arm Clamps
Refer to Diagrams 2a, 2b, 3, 7, and 8. Attach the Pole (C) to the Pole Mount Clamp (A) using screws (B). Then, slide the Monitor Arm Clamp (J) onto the Pole (C) and secure it with M4x12 screws (M-A). Similarly, slide the Laptop Tray Support Arm Clamp (K) onto the Pole (C) and secure it with M4x16 screws (M-B).
Step 2: Attach Monitor VESA Plates
Refer to Diagrams 4a, 4b, and 9. Attach the Monitor VESA Plates (D) to the Monitor Arm (I) using M5x12 screws (N) and M5x16 screws (O). Diagrams 4a and 4b illustrate different screw types (M-E, M-F) and hole patterns for VESA compatibility.
Step 3: Attach Laptop Tray
Refer to Diagrams 5 and 10. Attach the Laptop Tray (F) to the Laptop Tray Support Arm (H) using M5x16 screws (O) and M5x12 screws (N).
Step 4: Mount Arms onto Pole and Adjust Height
Refer to Diagram 6. Ensure the Monitor Arm (I) and Laptop Tray Support Arm (H) are correctly positioned on the Pole (C) via their respective clamps (J, K). Use the adjustment screws (P, Q) to slide the arms up or down the pole to your desired height. Tighten these screws to lock the positions.
Step 5: Mount Monitor and Laptop
Refer to Diagrams 11 and 12. Attach your monitor to the VESA plates (D) on the Monitor Arm (I) using the appropriate screws. Attach your laptop to the Laptop Tray (F).
Step 6: Final Adjustments and Positioning
Refer to Diagram 13 and the large dimension diagram. Adjust the tilt, swivel, and rotation of the monitor arm and laptop tray to achieve optimal viewing angles and ergonomic positioning. The mount allows for extensive articulation.

- VESA Plate Compatibility: Supports 75x75mm, 100x100mm, and 114x114mm mounting patterns.

- Arm Segment Lengths (approximate): 38mm, 185mm, 36mm, 140mm.
Maintenance
To ensure continued safety and functionality, periodically check that all screws and connections are tight and secure. Verify the mount is stable and free from damage. It is recommended to perform these checks at least every three months.
