Overview
The Altronix NetWaySP4TCW53 is a 4-port 802.3bt hardened switch designed to support up to 90W per port, delivering a total power of 360W. It is ideal for deploying the latest high-powered IP devices in remote locations. The unit features two (2) Gigabit SFP ports for long-distance data transmission and four (4) 802.3bt (90W) Ethernet ports. It supports single/multi-mode fiber cable for power delivery from NetWay Spectrum head-end media converters/injectors. The NetWaySP4TCW53 includes an integrated rapid battery charger for extended battery run times and embedded LINQ Technology for remote monitoring, control, and diagnostics.

Typical Application
The typical application involves connecting the NetWaySP4TCW53 to a power source (115/230VAC input) which is managed by a battery charger/manager system (such as Altronix EBC48 and NetWaySP4BTB). This system powers the switch and provides backup power from up to four (4) 12VDC stand-by batteries. The switch then distributes power and data via its four 802.3bt PoE Ethernet ports to connected IP devices. Two SFP ports are used for fiber optic connections, linking the switch to other network infrastructure, such as a central head-end or another hardened PoE switch. The unit includes a "Factory Reset" button and various LED indicators for status monitoring.
