Product Overview
The device is a digital alarm clock. A diagram illustrates its front panel, showing a time display area typically showing hours and minutes (e.g., 10:58). Above the display, indicators are labeled for Hours, Minutes, and PM. To the right, indicators are shown for the Alarm and the Snooze function. Below the display, a button is labeled SNOOZE/LIGHT.
Setting the Time
- Move the selector to the TM SET position.
- Press the HR button to increase the hour value and the MIN button to increase the minute value. Holding down these buttons allows for rapid adjustment of the displayed values.
- Note: Although seconds are not displayed, they reset to 00 when the MIN button is pressed.
- After setting the time, return the selector to the NORMAL position.
Using the Alarm
A key feature of these watches is the snooze function, allowing for a few extra minutes of sleep in the morning.
Setting the Alarm
- Move the selector to the AL SET position.
- Press the HR button to increase the hour value and the MIN button to increase the minute value. Holding down these buttons allows for rapid adjustment of the displayed values.
- After setting the alarm, move the selector to the NORMAL position.
Turning the Alarm On and Off
When the selector is in the SNZ or AL ON position, the alarm is active. Moving the selector to the AL OFF position deactivates the alarm.
Alarm Operation
- Set the desired alarm time and activate the alarm.
- When the set alarm time is reached, the alarm will sound. It will continue for 1 minute unless stopped by pressing the SNOOZE/LIGHT button.
- After 8 minutes from pressing the SNOOZE/LIGHT button, the alarm will sound again.
- If the alarm is not manually turned off (by moving the selector to AL OFF), this snooze cycle will repeat a second and a third time.
- You can stop the alarm at any time by moving the selector to AL OFF.
Checking the Set Alarm Time
- Move the selector to the NORMAL position.
- Press the HR or MIN button to display the currently set alarm time.
Alarm Test
- Move the selector to the SNZ or AL ON position.
- Move the selector to the NORMAL position.
- Press the HR or MIN button; the alarm will sound to confirm it is working.
Display Backlight
Press the SNOOZE/LIGHT button to illuminate the display.
Battery Replacement
Replace the battery when the display becomes dim and difficult to read.
- Lightly press the battery compartment cover, slide it in the direction indicated by an arrow, and open it.
- Remove both old batteries.
- Insert new batteries, observing polarity carefully. Incorrectly inserted batteries may explode and damage the watch.
- Replace the battery compartment cover.
