User Manual for CASIO Alarm Watches
Watch Diagram
The watch face displays the time with hour and minute indicators. It also features a PM indicator. Below the time display are indicators for the alarm (Alarm Indicator) and the snooze function (Snooze Function Indicator). Control buttons are visible, including a SNOOZE/LIGHT button.
Setting the Time
- Move the selector to the TM SET position.
- Press the HR button to increase the hour value and the MIN button to increase the minute value. Holding these buttons down allows for rapid adjustment.
- Note: Although seconds are not displayed, they reset to 00 when the MIN button is pressed.
- After setting the time, return the selector to the NORMAL position.
Using the Alarm
These watches feature a snooze function for the alarm, allowing for a few extra minutes of sleep in the morning.
Setting the Alarm
- Move the selector to the AL SET position.
- Press the HR button to increase the hour value and the MIN button to increase the minute value. Holding these buttons down allows for rapid adjustment.
- After setting the alarm time, return the selector to the NORMAL position.
Turning Alarm On/Off
When the selector is in the SNZ or AL ON position, the alarm is active. Moving the selector to the AL OFF position deactivates the alarm.
Alarm Operation
- Set the alarm sound time and activate the alarm.
- When the set alarm time is reached, the watch will sound. The alarm will sound for 1 minute unless interrupted by pressing the SNOOZE/LIGHT button.
- After pressing the SNOOZE/LIGHT button, the alarm will sound again 8 minutes later.
- If the alarm is not turned off (by moving the selector to AL OFF), this cycle will repeat a second and third time.
- You can stop the alarm at any time by moving the selector to the AL OFF position.
Checking the Set Alarm Time
- Move the selector to the NORMAL position.
- Press the HR or MIN button to display the set alarm time.
Testing the Alarm
- Move the selector to the SNZ or AL ON position.
- Move the selector to the NORMAL position.
- Press the HR or MIN button; the alarm will sound at this time.
Display Backlight
Press the SNOOZE/LIGHT button to illuminate the display.
Battery Replacement
The battery should be replaced when the display becomes dim and is difficult to read.
- Gently press the battery cover, slide it in the direction indicated by the arrow, and open it.
- Remove both old batteries.
- Insert new batteries. Pay close attention to polarity. Incorrectly inserted batteries may explode and damage the watch.
- Replace the battery cover.
