Included Items:
- HardWire RV-7 Stereo Reverb pedal
- StompLock™
- Foot Switch Glow Sticker
- Hook-and-loop Pedalboard Pad
- Online Warranty Registration Information Card
Pedal Interface
The pedal features several controls and connection jacks:
Controls:
- 1. Level Knob: Controls the reverb level.
- 2. DC Adapter Jack: For connecting an optional Harman power supply.
- 3. Liveliness Knob: Controls the amount of high-frequency response in the reverb signal.
- 4. Decay Knob: Controls the length of time the reverb fades out.
- 5. Type Knob: Selects one of 7 Lexicon® reverbs: ROOM, PLATE, REVERSE, MODULATED, GATED, HALL, SPRING.
Jacks:
- 6. Input 1 (Mono): Connect your instrument, a pedal output, or an amp effects send. This jack enables battery power.
- 7. Input 2: Connect a second input for stereo operation.
- 11. Output 1 (Mono): Connect to a single guitar amplifier or amp effects return.
- 12. Output 2: Connect to a second guitar amplifier for stereo use.
Other Features:
- 8. Foot Switch Release Pins: Spring-loaded pins to access the foot switch and battery compartment.
- 9. Indicator LED: Lights when the effect is on. Dims to indicate low battery.
- 10. Foot Switch: Engages and disengages the effect.
Note: Use unbalanced mono instrument cables only.
Tails Switch
The Tails Switch allows the reverb signal to continue after the effect is bypassed (when set to ON). If set to OFF, the reverb signal is cut off immediately upon bypassing.
The switch is located under the foot switch and is accessed by pressing one of the Foot Switch Release Pins with a 1/4" guitar cable plug. Once the foot switch is removed, the Tails Switch is visible inside the chassis. Slide the switch left for Tails ON, and right for Tails OFF.

Setup Configurations
Amplifier Setup
[Diagram: Illustrates connecting the guitar to the RV-7's Input 1, and the RV-7's Output 1 and Output 2 to two separate amplifiers. An optional Harman Power Supply is shown connected to the pedal. An alternative shows a guitar connected to another pedal, then to the RV-7.]
Effects Setup (Effects Loop)
[Diagram: Shows the guitar connected to the RV-7's Input 1. The RV-7's Output 1 is connected to the amplifier's SEND jack, and the amplifier's RETURN jack is connected back to the RV-7's Output 2 (or another output). An optional Harman Power Supply is shown.]
Note: If the amplifier's effects loop includes a mix control, set the mix to 100% full wet.
Battery Operation
If the battery depletes, the HardWire pedals automatically switch to bypass. To replace the battery:
- Push a Foot Switch Release Pin on either side of the foot switch using a 1/4" guitar cable tip to remove the foot switch.
- Remove the old battery from the compartment and disconnect its cable.
- Connect a new battery to the cable and place it in the compartment, ensuring the cable does not interfere with the spring or switch arm.
- Align one hole of the foot switch with its pin, push the opposite pin in, and lower the foot switch into place. Release the pin. Both release pins should be flush with the pedal's outer side when properly fastened.
