3. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q: How to download mobile APP?

A: Select a commonly used mobile phone and scan the QR code in the user manual, or search for "Viidure" installation on Google Play or the App Store.

Q: Cannot turn on the car DVR?

A: Firstly, check that the LED indicator light is on properly. Secondly, check whether the power cable is properly connected.

Q: Can't recording/taping?

A: Please use a genuine Class 10 or above high-speed SD card (16GB-128GB recommended). Check that the memory card is installed correctly or that it is formatted. Format the SD card in the APP if necessary. Note: When the memory card is inserted for the first time, it requires formatting on the APP.

Q: Can't connect WiFi or connect failed?

A: Please authorize the App with album, location, WLAN & cellular data. Turn off VPN, security software, and anti-virus apps on your mobile phone to ensure successful Wi-Fi connection.

Q: Why doesn't WiFi connect automatically?

A: The Wi-Fi connection is designed to be manual. This is because many mobile phones are single-channel and cannot use SIM card data after connecting to Wi-Fi. This manual connection prevents potential issues with 4/5G connectivity and missing important information.

Q: Is it possible to watch live video when the app is not connected to WiFi?

A: No, when the app is not connected to the recorder's Wi-Fi, you can only view downloaded and saved video files within the app.

Q: How to activate this dash cam's parking monitoring function?

A: The Q3 dash cam supports 24-hour recording only when connected to a mini USB hardwire kit (HARDWIRE KIT NOT INCLUDED). Connect the hardwire kit to your fuse box. If you are unsure about installation, consult a professional.

Q: The pictures is not clear?

A: Please remove the protective film, wipe the lens clean with a clean cloth, and ensure the front windshield is clean.

Q: Does the device shut down when the SD card is hot plugged?

A: The device does not support hot-swapping the SD card. It will automatically shut down when you insert or remove the SD card while the device is powered on to protect the device and ensure a longer lifespan.

Q: Black screen when previewing the video on mobile screen?

A: The device outputs 1080P high-resolution video wirelessly to a smartphone. Ensure your phone is configured to decode 1080P video files. Android phones may experience this issue due to accumulated cache files; clearing redundant background files can free up memory space for the APP.

5. Matters Need Attention

  1. This product records image, sound, and other information during vehicle driving. The saved data is for reference only. The company is not liable for any loss caused by abnormal use, bad files, or data loss.
  2. It is recommended to use Class 10 or above memory cards. To avoid misunderstanding, the machine must be in normal working state to record. Images may be damaged or lost under the following circumstances:
    1. Abnormal operation, such as unlawfully removing the memory card during recording.
    2. Damage or loss of recording files due to a destructive collision of the machine during recording.
  3. Remember to use the dash cam within legal limits. Keep the manual for initial connection information. If directly connected to the car power supply, do not use the dash cam for extended periods with the engine off, as it may prevent the car from starting.
  4. The product operates normally between -20°C and 70°C. Avoid using it in high/low temperatures, high humidity, or exposing it to rain or dust.
  5. Product functions may be updated and may differ slightly from this manual. Refer to actual product functions for details. This product is for auxiliary driving only and cannot replace real-time manual operation or specific human environments.

6. Dash Cam Use and Daily Maintenance

  1. The dash cam records in segments, not continuously. Videos can be copied for retention. It uses cyclic recording, automatically overwriting the earliest content when full.
  2. In emergencies, save and download content from the dash cam or app to prevent video overwriting.
  3. To prevent recording issues due to too many protected video clips, format the memory card once a month.
  4. If the machine chirps or the blue light is on during use, press the RESET jack with a toothpick or needle. You can also contact customer service.

This diagram shows a dash cam mounted inside a car, connected via a USB cable to a power source labeled 'USB-5V'. It illustrates the typical setup within a vehicle's interior.

7. Schematic Diagram for Installing ACC Hardwire Kit

Note: A USB Type-C hard cable kit, 12V-24V to DC 5V 3A car charger power cord is required. Most ACC hardwired kits available on the market are universal and compatible.

This diagram details the connection of an ACC hardwire kit. It shows the dash cam connected via USB-C to a power cord. The power cord connects to a fuse box with various fuse slots, an engine start switch, and directly to the car's battery (positive and negative terminals). It includes connections for ACC, ignition, battery, and earth. A warning advises disconnecting the negative battery terminal before installation.
