1. Button Instructions
Button Function
Button | Function |

? Power | Press and hold the power button for 4 seconds to turn on/off the camera. When the camera is on, short press to turn on/off screen display. |
M Mode | Mode Button is disabled during recording. Press OK button to stop recording, and then press Mode button to enter the mode. First press to access Picture Mode. Second press to access Playback Mode (Check pictures and videos recorded). Third press to return to Video Recording Mode. |
☰ Menu | Menu Button is disabled during recording. First press OK button to stop recording, and then press Menu button to access to system setting menu. Once again press to exit menu. |
▲ UP | During video recording, short press to turn ON/OFF audio recording. Long press for 3 seconds to turn ON/OFF WiFi connection. In setup menu, short press to select options and adjust values. In Playback Mode, short press to select files. |
▼ Down | Short press to switch camera screen, long press for 5 seconds to release, display GPS system information. Press the menu button to return to video recording mode. In setup menu, short press to select options and adjust values. In Playback Mode, short press to select files. |
? Lock | During video recording, short press to manually lock current video. |

2. Recording/ Taking Pictures Basic Operation Instructions
Recording
The machine turns on and enters the recording interface, and the recording icon is displayed in the upper left corner of the screen. Start recording when start recording, the screen will have a red dot flashing ?. At the same time, you cannot operate the menu and switch the working mode. If you want to do that, you need to press OK to stop recording.
Taking Pictures
In the recording interface, press the mode button once to enter the photo interface, and press the OK button to take a photo.
Video/Picture Playback
Press the mode button twice to enter the playback interface. (Check pictures and videos recorded)
- Types of recordings: Front normal video, Front locked video, Front road photos, Rear normal video, Rear locked video, Rear road photos.
- Press the "up/down" buttons to select former Video/picture, Press the "OK" button again to play the video/photo.
- Exit by pressing the mode button.
3. Install APP & Connect WIFI
Note: Please press the UP button for 3s to turn on/off WiFi connection!
A: Install APP
Search "Viidure" in app store, or scan the following QR code to download the app. [QR Code] After installation, the app will prompt "if you want Viidure to access the photos of your phone", click "OK".
B: Connect WiFi
1) Select "On" in the setting, you need to search for WIFI and enter the password in your phone when use it first time. (The WiFi name will start with the words "CAR DVR-******", the original password is 12345678.)
2) Open the APP, after connect success, you can view the video on the phone.
4. GPS Tracker (Optional)
1) GPS connect success, there will have a green GPS logo ? on the screen; (if not success, it is red).
2) GPS connect success, the stored video will be marked with the corresponding coordinates (longitude or latitude), and the speed of the car.
3) When playback the video in the phone, it will play the GPS tracking information too.

Note on GPS Positioning
It needs USB power supply for GPS positioning.
Rear Camera Installation
Position 2: Rear camera should be installed near the license plate. Position 2 is very advised. Both the rear viewing and reverse guidance images are sharp and clear. To use the reversing function, please install the rear camera in position.

5. Settings
1) Resolution: 4K / 2K / 1080P
2) Loop recording: support 1min/ 2 min/ 3 min, default is 1min
3) G-sensor: support OFF / Hight / Middle / Low. default is "Low";
4) Parking Monitor: default is "off", if you set "On", after you turn off the dvr, and if there is a shock, it will turn on and recording, and turn off after 15s;
5) Time-lapse: Time-lapse fps: OFF/1fps/2fps/5fps, default is "off"; Time-Lapse duration: OFF/8hours/16hours/24hours, default is "off".
6) WiFi settings: select: ON / OFF; wifi name: CAR DVR_****, wifi password: 12345678. Scannable QR code icon. default is "off".
7) Screen saver: OFF/1min/ 2 min/ 3 min, default is OFF.
8) Record Audio: OFF/ON, default is ON.
9) Beep Sound: OFF/ON, default is ON.
10) Exposure: -3/-2/-1/0/+1/+2/+3, default is 0.
11) White balance: OFF / Sunlight / Cloudy day / Tungsten lamp / Fluorescent lamp.
12) Frequency: 50HZ / 60HZ.
13) Language: Chinese, English, German, French, Espana, Italy.
14) Auto Power off: OFF/1min/ 3 min/ 5 min, default is OFF.
15) Date Stamp: default is "on", display the video time.
16) Date / Time: set the time, support set in the time in the dvr or set it in the phone app.
17) Format: Select "Confirm" to delete all data of TF card.
18) Default Settings: Select "Confirm" to restore factory settings.
19) Version: The firmware version of the dash cam.
20) Speed unit: NM/H, KM/H. (Optional)
