Product Overview
This guide provides instructions for installing and setting up the Honeywell HC35WF6R1 and HC35WFCR1 series of 6MP/12MP IR Fixed Fisheye Cameras.
Important Safeguards

- [cleaning-icon] Do not use strong or abrasive detergents for cleaning.
- [environment-icon] Avoid operating or storing in extreme humidity, dust, or temperatures outside -22°F to 140°F (-30°C to 60°C).
- [radiation-icon] Avoid operating near powerful electromagnetic radiation sources like radio or TV transmitters.
- [poe-network-icon] Connect only to a PoE network without routing to outside plant.
- [grounding-icon] If using a power adapter, ensure it is properly grounded. Consult Honeywell for recommended adapters.
- [technician-icon] Installation and dismantling should be performed by qualified technicians only.

- [mount-icon] The product can be ceiling or wall mounted. For wall mounting, ensure the Cable Gland faces down and the product is above 3 meters high.

- [distance-icon] Install the camera at least 10 cm away from building eaves.
- [class-i-icon] If using a Class I adapter/switch, ensure the power cord is firmly plugged in and the main earth connection is confirmed.
Installation Steps
Step 1: Base Assembly
Diagram 1 shows the assembly of the camera base. It includes a circular base plate, a mounting bracket, three screws, and anchors. The bracket is attached to the base plate using the screws.
Step 2: Camera Mounting
Diagram 2 illustrates attaching the camera body to the mounting bracket. It shows the camera unit, bracket, screws, and indicates the Micro SD card slot. A warning symbol [warning-symbol] is present near connection points.
Step 3: Mounting Options
- Ceiling Mount: Diagram 3 shows a ceiling mount requiring a hole of Ø25mm. Diagram 4 shows securing the camera to the ceiling mount plate with screws.
- Wall Mount: Diagram 5 shows securing the camera to a wall plate using screws.
Step 4: Wiring Connections
Diagram 6 details the camera's wiring. The connections are as follows:

The camera also supports 'DC 12V (Optional)' power and has an 'IP66' rating.
Step 5: Final Assembly
Diagram 7 shows connecting the camera to the mounting bracket and securing it with screws. Diagram 8 shows the completed installation.
Accessory Compatibility
The cameras are compatible with various mounting accessories:
- Ceiling Mount: HA35CLM01 or HA35CLM02 with HA35PCM04B junction box/camera housing.
- Wall Mount: HA35PLM01 or HA35CNM01 with HA60WLMB1 wall mount bracket and HA35PCM04B junction box/camera housing.
- Junction Box Mount: HA35PLM01 or HA35CNM01 with HA35JCBHBA junction box (HA35JCBHA1), with cable connections labeled A, B, C, D, E.
Software Setup and Configuration
Accessing the Tool:
- Visit the website: https://myhoneywellbuildingsuniversity.com [web-icon].
- Select 'Download Center' [download-center-icon] and download the 'Unified Tool' [download-icon].
Using the Honeywell Unified Tool:
The tool's Camera Manager [manager-icon] allows for network scanning and camera management.
Initialization and Password Setup:
- The camera supports Chrome 91 (or later).
- By default, the camera uses a DHCP/APIPA IP address; switching to a static IP is optional.
- Users can set a new password with requirements: 8+ characters, upper/lower case letters, at least one number, one symbol (e.g., -!@%^#$=+*&), and no spaces.
Connection Scenarios:
- Scenario A: Factory Default Mode: Follow steps 1a-5a.
- Scenario B: Already Initialized Devices: Follow steps 1b-5b. Ensure devices are authenticated.
- Connecting to Legacy NVR: If connecting to an NVR that does not support HTTPS, change the camera's mode to 'HTTP & HTTPS'.
The tool displays camera details like Model, IP Address, MAC Address, Firmware, and Protocol status.
Cautions and Warnings
- [warning-symbol] CAUTION: RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK. DO NOT OPEN. Refer servicing to qualified personnel.

- [caution-service-icon] To reduce shock risk, do not remove covers; no user-serviceable parts inside.
- [safety-compliance-icon] Use only Local Certified / CSA Certified / UL Listed LPS or Class 2 power adapters.
- [poe-icon] Power over Ethernet (PoE) must be from listed Information Technology Equipment meeting IEEE 802.3af.
- [poe-warning-icon] PoE is not intended for exposed (outside plant) networks.
- [led-radiation-icon] CAUTION: Invisible LED radiation (850 nm). Avoid exposure to beam.
Regulatory Statements
- FCC Statement of Compliance: Tested and compliant with Class A digital device limits (Part 15 FCC Rules) for reasonable protection against harmful interference. Generates radio frequency energy; improper installation may cause interference. Users can try to correct interference by reorienting antennas, increasing separation, or changing circuits. Modifications not approved by the compliance party may void user authority.
- Canadian Compliance: This Class A digital apparatus complies with Canadian ICES-003.
- Manufacturer's Declaration of Conformance:
- North America: Conforms to UL 62368-1 and CSA C22.2 No. 62368-1.
- Europe: Compliant with EU Directives (RoHS 3, EMC Directive 2014/30/EU) and standards EN 55032 (emissions), EN 50130-4 (immunity), and EN 62368-1 (safety).
