SUNDVIK Cot Assembly Instructions

This document provides step-by-step instructions for assembling the IKEA SUNDVIK cot. Please ensure you have all parts before beginning.

  • Screwdriver (Phillips head) ?

  • 8x Dowel (101351)
  • 4x Cam Lock Nut (148624)
  • 4x Screw (147168)
  • 8x Cam Lock (100514)
  • 1x Allen Key (100092)
  • 4x Bracket (119245)
  • 4x Bracket (128546)
  • 4x Screw (10050797)

Assembly Steps

  1. Attach side rails to the headboard and footboard using dowels (101351) and screws (105907). Ensure the correct orientation as shown in the diagram.
  2. Connect the two assembled sides using the provided hardware. Insert screws (105907) and secure with cam locks (100514). Use the Allen key (100092) for tightening.
  3. Attach the base support rails. Insert dowels (101351) and secure with screws.
  4. Attach the top rails. Use screws (105907) and cam locks (100514).
  5. Secure the mattress base supports using brackets (128546) and a hammer.
  6. Attach the cot sides to the base structure. Use screws (10050797) and cam locks (100514).
  7. Place the mattress support into the cot frame. Ensure it is correctly positioned.
  8. Secure the mattress support using screws (100092) and cam locks (148624).
  9. Attach the remaining cot sides using screws (147168) and brackets (119245).

Important Information

  • Mattress size: 60 x 120 cm (47 1/4" x 23 5/8").
  • Maximum mattress thickness: 12 cm (4 3/4").
  • Ensure all screws are tightened securely before use.
  • Periodically check and retighten all fittings.
  • Do not use the cot if any part is missing or damaged.
