Getting Started
Before using the appliance for the first time, please read the user instructions and safety information.
Configuring Home Connect
Tip: Connect the appliance to a mobile device. Using the Home Connect app, all settings can be conveniently made.
- Scan the QR code below. With the QR code, the Home Connect app can be installed and the appliance connected.
- Follow the instructions in the Home Connect app.

Water Hardness Settings Overview
Here you will find an overview of the adjustable values for water hardness. The user instructions include a table with units for each country.

Adjusting the Descaler
- Press the button.
- To open the basic settings, press and hold the [Setup button] for 3 seconds.
- The display shows Hxx.
- The display shows "set".
- Press the [Start button] repeatedly until the corresponding water hardness level is set.
- Press and hold the [Setup button] for 3 seconds to save the settings.
Adding Special Salt
To prevent damage to the appliance, fill the special salt into the salt reservoir immediately before starting the program.
- Unscrew the cap of the salt reservoir and remove it.
- Before first use: fill the reservoir completely with water.
- Add special salt to the reservoir. This displaces and flushes out the water in the reservoir. Never add detergent.
- Place the cap on the reservoir and turn it to close.

Adding Rinse Aid
When the rinse aid refill indicator is lit or the rinse aid level is low, add rinse aid.
- Press the catch on the lid of the rinse aid dispenser and lift it.
- Add rinse aid up to the maximum fill mark.
- Close the lid of the rinse aid dispenser. The lid clicks into place audibly.

Programs
Program data is determined in laboratory conditions according to European standard EN 60436. Consumption values are indicative (except for Eco) and depend on the selected program and additional function. If the rinse aid system is switched off or no rinse aid is added, the wash cycle duration will vary.

Adding Detergent
Add detergent to the dry detergent compartment.
- Place detergent in the dry detergent compartment.
- Close the lid of the detergent compartment. The lid clicks into place audibly.
How it Works
- Load the dishwasher.
Only wash dishwasher-safe tableware.
Remove large food residues from tableware.
Check that the spray arms can turn freely. - Add detergent.
- Switch on the appliance. [Power button symbol]
- Select the program.
- Start the program. [Start button symbol]
- Once the program has finished, unload the dishwasher.
- To cancel the program, press and hold the [Reset button] for approx. 4 seconds. The program is interrupted and finishes after approx. 1 minute.
Cleaning the Filters
Check the filters for accumulated dirt after every wash cycle.
- Turn the coarse filter [anti-clockwise arrow] and remove the filter system [Diagram: Filter removal].
- Pull out the microfilter downwards.
- Press the retaining tabs and pull the coarse filter upwards [Diagram: Coarse filter removal].
- Clean the filter elements under running water.
- Reassemble the filter system.
- Insert the filter system into the appliance and turn the coarse filter clockwise [clockwise arrow]. Ensure the arrow markings are aligned.

Cleaning the Spray Arms
Clean the ceiling spray arm according to the user instructions.
- Unscrew the upper spray arm and pull it downwards out of its mount [Diagram: Upper spray arm removal].
- Pull out the lower spray arm upwards.
- Check the spray nozzles for blockages under running water and remove any foreign objects if necessary.
- Reattach the lower spray arm. The spray arm clicks into place audibly.
- Reattach the upper spray arm and screw it on.

Cleaning the Drain Pump
Caution: Before cleaning, disconnect the appliance from the power supply.
- Disconnect the appliance from the power supply.
- Remove the filter system.
- Drain any existing water.
- Lever off the pump cover with a spoon and hold it by the edge [Diagram: Lever pump cover with spoon].
- Lift the pump cover, tilting it inwards, and remove it.
- Remove food residue and foreign objects from the impeller.
- Replace the pump cover and press it down [Diagram: Replace pump cover]. The pump cover clicks into place audibly.
- Reassemble the filter system.

Troubleshooting Minor Faults
Fault | Cause and Solution |

E:32-00 illuminates alternately or the water inlet indicator lights up. | Cause: Water inlet hose is kinked. Solution: Install the water inlet hose so that it is not kinked or bent. Cause: Water tap is closed. Solution: Open the water tap. Cause: Water tap is stiff or calcified. Solution: Open the water tap. The water flow rate must be at least 10 l/min when the tap is open. Cause: Filters in the AquaStop connection or inlet hose are blocked. Solution:
