Getting Started
Before using the appliance for the first time, please read the user manual and safety instructions.
Configuring Home Connect
Tip: Connect the appliance to a mobile device. The Home Connect app allows you to make all settings conveniently.
- Install the Home Connect app on your mobile device and follow the instructions.
- Scan the QR code with the Home Connect app.
Water Hardness Settings
This section provides an overview of the adjustable water hardness levels.

Adjusting the Water Softener
- Press the button.
- To open the basic settings, press and hold the Setup button for 3 seconds.
Note: Hxx appears on the display, followed by 'set'.
- Press Start repeatedly until the corresponding water hardness level is set.
- Press and hold the Setup button for 3 seconds to save the settings.
Adding Special Salt
To prevent damage to the appliance, fill the special salt compartment just before starting the program.
- Unscrew the salt compartment lid and remove it.
- Before the first use: Fill the compartment completely with water.
- Add special salt to the compartment. This will displace and flush out the water in the compartment. Never add detergent.
- Replace the lid on the compartment and turn it to close.
Adding Rinse Aid
- Press the retaining tab on the rinse aid compartment lid and lift it.
- Fill the rinse aid compartment up to the maximum fill mark.
- Close the rinse aid compartment lid. The lid will click into place.
Loading Detergent
- Add detergent to the dry detergent compartment.
- Close the detergent compartment lid. The lid will click into place.
Programs
Program data are values determined in a laboratory under the European standard EN 60436. Consumption values depend on the selected program and additional function. If the rinse aid system is switched off or no rinse aid is added, the wash cycle duration will vary.

Silence 50°: Program suitable for overnight operation: long duration, particularly quiet.
Operation
How it works:
- Load the dishwasher. Only load dishwasher-safe items. Remove food residue from the dishwasher. Check that the spray arms can rotate freely.
- Add detergent.
- Switch on the appliance.
- Select the program.
- Start the program using the Start button.
- After the program has finished, unload the dishwasher.
- To cancel the program, press and hold the Reset button for approx. 4 seconds. The program will be interrupted and will end after approx. 1 minute.
Maintenance
Cleaning the Filters
- Check the filters for dirt accumulation after every wash cycle.
- Turn the coarse filter anti-clockwise and remove the filter system.
- Pull out the microfilter downwards.
- Press the retaining tabs and pull the coarse filter upwards.
- Clean the filter elements under running water.
- Reassemble the filter system.
- Insert the filter system into the appliance and turn the coarse filter clockwise. Ensure the arrow markings align.
Cleaning the Spray Arms
Clean the ceiling spray arm according to the user manual instructions.
- Unscrew the upper spray arm and remove it downwards.
- Pull the lower spray arm upwards.
- Check the spray nozzles of the spray arms for blockages under running water and remove any foreign objects.
- Install the lower spray arm. The spray arm will click into place.
- Install the upper spray arm and screw it on.
Cleaning the Drain Pump
- Disconnect the appliance from the power supply.
- Remove the filter system.
- Drain any existing water.
- Pry off the pump cover using a spoon and hold it by the edge.
- Lift off the pump cover, tilting it inwards, and remove it.
- Remove food residue and foreign objects from the impellers.
- Replace the pump cover and press it down. The pump cover will click into place.
- Reassemble the filter system.
Troubleshooting
Error E:32-00 or Water Inlet Indicator Lights Up
- Cause: Water supply hose is kinked. Solution: Ensure the water supply hose is not kinked.
- Cause: Water tap is closed. Solution: Open the water tap.
- Cause: Water tap is seized or calcified. Solution: Open the water tap. The water flow rate must be at least 10 l/min when the tap is open.
- Cause: Filters in the water connection of the AquaStop hose or in the supply hose are blocked. Solution: Turn off the appliance, unplug the power cord, turn off the water tap, unscrew the water connection, remove and clean the filter, reinsert the filter, screw on the water connection, check for leaks, reconnect power, and switch on the appliance.
Error E:61-02 Lights Up Alternately
- Cause: Drain pump is blocked. Solution: Clean the drain pump.
- Cause: Drain pump cover is loose. Solution: Secure the drain pump cover correctly.
Error E:92-40 Lights Up Alternately
- Cause: Filters are dirty or blocked. Solution: Clean the filters.
Food Residue on Dishes
- Cause: Dishes are loaded too close together or the basket is overloaded. Solution: Load dishes with sufficient space between them. Ensure water jets can reach all surfaces. Do not let dishes touch each other.
- Cause: Spray arm rotation is blocked. Solution: Load dishes so they do not impede spray arm rotation.
- Cause: Spray nozzles are blocked. Solution: Clean the spray arms.
- Cause: Filters are blocked. Solution: Clean the filters.
- Cause: Filters are incorrectly fitted or not engaged. Solution: Fit the filters correctly and ensure they are engaged.
- Cause: Washing program is not intensive enough. Solution: Select a more intensive washing program.
Veiils on Glasses, Metallic Sheen on Glasses and Cutlery
- Cause: Rinse aid setting is too high. Solution: Adjust rinse aid to a lower level.
- Cause: No rinse aid. Solution: Refill rinse aid.
Rust Stains on Cutlery
- Cause: Cutlery is not corrosion-resistant. This often affects knife blades. Solution: Use stainless steel cutlery. Cutlery can also rust if washed with already rusted items. Do not wash rusted items in the dishwasher.
- Cause: Spray arms are blocked by dishes, and detergent is not dispensed. Solution: Ensure spray arms are not blocked and can rotate freely.
Detergent Residue in the Detergent Compartment or Dosing Tray
- Cause: Spray arms are blocked by dishes and detergent is not dispensed. Solution: Ensure spray arms are not blocked and can rotate freely.
All LEDs Illuminated, Flashing, or Wash Program Does Not Continue
- Cause: The electronic system has detected a fault. Solution: Press and hold the main switch button for approx. 4 seconds. The appliance will reset and restart.
