Application
The HZ322 TrueZONE® panel controls:
- Conventional gas, oil, or electric forced-air systems up to 2 stages heat and 2 stages cool;
- Heat pump systems with single stage compressor and auxiliary heat;
- 2 or 3 forced-air zones with wired thermostats, or wireless thermostats using optional wireless adaptor.

- Intuitive installer setup with easy-to-follow, digital display uses real language to guide installer through configuration
- Universal application for any HVAC system using conventional thermostat wiring (R W Y G C etc.)
- Standard checkout procedure ensures correct operation before leaving the job
- Robust push terminals for up to two wires per terminal
- Common-sense LEDs indicate stage of heat and damper state
- Control of two or three wire dampers with open or closed logic
- Variable-speed fan control lowers fan speed when one zone is calling for cooling
- Discharge air temperature down-stages equipment when near high or low limit

Mounting: Mounts with either 2 screws at center line to mount onto 2 x 4, or with 4 screws at corners for wall mount.

Emissions: Complies with FCC Class B, part 15 requirements.

| Battery powered, hard-wired, or mechanical | The HZ322 is compatible with most standard thermostats. The HZ322 allows you to choose stage 2 (and stage 3) control to be by thermostat, timer, or % of zones. If you want the thermostats to control staging, multi-stage thermostats are required. |
| Power stealing or phantom voltage (Lyric round, etc.) | We do not recommend using thermostats that operate on phantom voltage or power-stealing mode with the HZ322. Some of these models have an optional C wire. Models tested with a C wire worked correctly with the HZ322. |
* RedLINK models without IAQ control need a THM4000R1000 wireless adaptor. One adaptor can be used for up to 3 RedLINK thermostats on HZ322. If IAQ control is required from the TH8321R1001 or THX9421R5021 model, a THM5421R1021 is required for the thermostat controlling IAQ equipment. That EIM wires to one of the zones on the HZ322.
