Application
The updated fourth generation of the evohome zoning system offers heating and cooling control, advanced weather functionality, patented ON/OFF boiler control, direct heat pump control, and integrated Wi-Fi for connectivity with the Total Connect Comfort Smart phone App. The evohome central controller can manage up to twelve independent time and temperature-controlled zones (rooms) plus stored hot water systems. Each zone features a full seven-day program with overrides and one-touch actions for ease of use. The controller communicates wirelessly with HR93 radiator controllers, sensors, and actuators using 868 MHz RF technology, enabling upgrades to most heating systems with minimal disruption. Evohome can be remotely controlled via Android and Apple smartphones or a web browser, and integrated with third-party smart home systems via IFTTT, Google Assistant, and Amazon Alexa. It supports various heating and cooling types, including radiators, underfloor heating, stored hot water, electric zones, and combinations thereof, in homes or offices. Evohome provides high efficiency and intelligent control for various boiler types (Basic, Combi, Opentherm, gas, oil, electric, solid fuel) and heat sources like air or ground source heat pumps.
