How to Play with Your Virtual Fairy Pet Finder

This guide provides instructions on how to use your Virtual Fairy Pet Finder, including catching fairy pets, interacting with them, and replacing batteries.

Catch a Fairy Pet!

Follow these steps to catch your first fairy pet:

With the lid open, lights and sounds will appear, indicating the Finder is searching for a fairy pet.
The device will light up as a fairy pet flies in.
Close the lid once the lights and sounds indicate a pet has flown in.

Want to Catch Another Fairy Pet?

To find more fairy pets:

Double-press the top or center button to launch Fairy Finder mode.
Leave the lid open as your Finder searches for a Fairy Pet. Once one flies in, close the lid!

Tips

Hold down the top button for 2+ seconds to launch Trading mode.

Interact with Your Fairy Pets!

Explore different play modes:

Hold down the Center Button for 2+ seconds to launch the menu.
Toggle through the menu using the buttons on the left and right of the screen. Press the Center Button to choose between different play modes.
Hold down the Center Button to return to the Menu screen.
Collection Mode: See all the Fairy Pets you've found and call them back to play or trade.
Fairy Finder Mode: Find more Fairy Pets!
Trading Mode: Trade fairy pets with friends.

Battery Replacement

NOTE: Ensure the main power button is set to OFF before changing batteries. Ask a parent or adult for help.

To install or change your Fairy Pet Finder batteries:

Lay the Fairy Pet Finder down so the battery compartment faces upwards. The Fairy Pet Finder requires 3 x AA (LR6/R6P) 1.5V batteries (included).
Use a Phillips screwdriver (not included) to remove the screw on the battery compartment door.
Remove any existing batteries and insert new batteries according to the diagram inside the battery compartment, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
Replace the battery compartment door and secure it with the screw. Do not over-tighten.
