Battery Installation
The remote control requires 3 AAA 1.5V batteries (not included). Use a tool to press the button and release the battery cover. Slide the battery cover down to remove it. Insert the batteries in the same orientation as shown. Slide the battery cover back up and secure it in place.
Diagram Description: An illustration shows the back of the remote control with a battery compartment cover and a diagram indicating the correct polarity for three AAA batteries.
Powering On and Pairing
Power On: Press the power button on the remote control once; the power LED will light up gradually. Slide the power switch on the bottom of the drone to the 'on' position.
Pairing: After powering on both devices, move the left joystick up and down quickly to start pairing. If pairing fails within 1 minute, power both devices off and on again. The remote control and drone use a 2.4GHz wireless connection. If a disconnection occurs, the other device will automatically enter pairing mode.
Stabilization and Recalibration
If the drone experiences stability issues after an impact, reset the gyroscope by simultaneously pointing the left joystick to the bottom left and the right joystick to the bottom right. The drone's lights will flash to confirm recalibration. If issues persist, power cycle both devices and re-pair them.
Note: Recalibration can also clear previous trim settings.
Controls
Place the drone on a level, solid surface for takeoff. There are two takeoff methods: auto takeoff by pressing the flight button, or manual takeoff by pushing the left joystick up. To land, either use the auto-land function or manually guide the drone down with the left joystick. An emergency stop can be performed by pressing and holding the flight button.
Left Joystick: Controls drone height (up/down) and rotation (left/right for counterclockwise/clockwise spin).
Right Joystick: Controls drone movement on the X-axis (forward/backward, left/right).
Diagram Description: A diagram of the remote control labels the following buttons and joysticks: Power LED, Flight, Left Joystick, Speed, Trimming, On/Off, Flip Stunt, Right Joystick, Auto Orientation, Trimming.
Speed Adjustment
Press the speed button to switch between low and high speed modes. The remote control will beep once for low speed and twice for high speed. The drone defaults to low speed upon powering on.
Auto Orientation
Press the auto orientation button to activate or deactivate this mode. When active, the drone moves relative to the remote control's position, regardless of the drone's facing direction. Pressing the right joystick up moves the drone away from the remote, and down moves it towards the remote. The remote control beeps every 6 seconds when auto orientation is active.
Adjust Trim
Use the trim buttons to correct drifting:
- Forward trim: If the drone drifts backward.
- Backward trim: If the drone drifts forward.
- Left trim: If the drone drifts right.
- Right trim: If the drone drifts left.
Diagram Description: Four diagrams labeled A, B, C, and D illustrate the trim buttons on the remote control.
Flip Stunt
Press the flip button, then press the right joystick left or right to perform a flip stunt.
Propeller Replacement
Propellers must be replaced by an adult. Pull damaged propellers directly upwards to remove them. Verify the correct propeller letter (indicated on the underside) against the diagram. Align and press the replacement propeller securely into place.
Diagram Description: A diagram shows four propellers labeled A, B, C, and D, with an arrow indicating how to pull them off and how to install new ones.
Charging the Battery
The drone has a built-in rechargeable battery. Charge fully before first use. Plug the included USB-C charging cable into the drone's charging port and the other end into a power adapter. The red LEDs on the drone light up while charging and turn off when fully charged. A full charge takes approximately 70 minutes and provides about 5 minutes of flight time. When the battery is low, both white and red LEDs on the drone will flash rapidly, and the remote control will beep every 2 seconds. The drone cannot be operated while charging.
