Emptying the Clear Bin

To empty the clear bin:

  1. Lift the lever upwards until the base of the clear bin opens automatically.
  2. Push the cyclone back into the clear bin and manually close the base of the clear bin.

Cleaning the Clear Bin:

Ensure the appliance is disconnected from the charger. Remove the wand and floor tool. Remove the cyclone by releasing the lever and pressing the button behind it. Ensure it is completely dry before replacing.

Washable Parts

Washing the Brush Bar:

Disconnect from charger. Turn cleaner head upside down. Push end cap upwards, pull out brush bar. Remove end cap (do not wash). Wash brush bar under running water, gently rubbing to remove lint/dirt. Stand upright and leave to dry completely for a minimum of 24 hours. Reattach end cap. Slide brush bar back into cleaner head, ensuring end cap is in the open position, then push end cap until it clips securely closed.

Washing the Filters:

Filter A (Pre-motor filter): Disconnect from charger. Lift filter out of the top of the appliance. Wash with cold water only, running water over the outside until clear. Squeeze and twist to remove excess water. Leave to dry completely for a minimum of 24 hours. Refit the dry filter.

Filter B (Post-motor filter): Twist anti-clockwise to open and pull away. Wash inside under cold running water, rotating to cover all pleats. Tap gently to remove debris. Repeat 4-5 times. Place upright and leave to dry completely for a minimum of 24 hours. Refit by twisting clockwise until it clicks.

Washing the Light Pipe Crevice Tool:

Wash with cold water. Ensure it is completely dry before use.

Blockages - Automatic Cut-Out

The machine has an automatic cut-out if a part becomes blocked. The motor will pulse before cutting out. Allow the machine to cool before checking for blockages. Ensure the appliance is disconnected from the charger before checking. Clear any blockages and refit all parts securely before using. Clearing blockages is not covered by your guarantee.

Looking for Blockages:

Disconnect from charger. Allow to cool. Beware of sharp objects. To check the main body, remove the clear bin and cyclone. For stubborn blockages, refer to illustrations. If an obstruction cannot be cleared, brush bars may need to be removed as per the instructions for washing the brush bar.

Charging and Storing

The machine switches off if battery temperature is below 10°C (50°F). Do not charge and then move to a cold area for storage. To prolong battery life, avoid recharging immediately after a full discharge; allow to cool. Avoid using the machine with the battery flush to a surface.
