Motorhead Assembly
Attach the cleaner head to the pipe with a "click" sound. Use the cleaner head suitable for the application.

Filter Cleaning

2-Year Manufacturer's Warranty
Register within 30 days of purchase for a warranty covering parts and service costs for repairs, valid from the purchase date. Keep your receipt, invoice, or delivery note as proof of purchase. Contact Dyson Customer Service for assistance. Provide the product serial number (located on the main unit, under the clear bin).

Safety Precautions

- General Safety: Do not use outdoors or on wet surfaces. Do not vacuum liquids. Keep away from children. Do not disassemble the unit. Handle damaged cords with care.
- Usage Restrictions: Do not vacuum flammable liquids or hot objects. Keep hair, clothing, and fingers away from moving parts. Do not insert objects into openings.
- Maintenance: Only use Dyson-specified parts. Store indoors. Do not use or store below 3°C (37°F). Clean with a dry cloth only.
- Battery Safety: Do not disassemble, heat, or incinerate batteries. Handle leaks with care. Dispose of batteries according to local regulations.
Battery Recycling
Please cooperate with battery recycling. Take used batteries to a designated recycling point. ♻️
Operation
Starting and Mode Change: Pull the trigger on the handle to start. To change modes, pull the trigger and press the [MAX] button. The [MAX] button will illuminate.
- Normal Mode: Approx. 16 minutes (with motorhead), Approx. 20 minutes (with combination/crevice tool).
- MAX Mode: Approx. 6 minutes.
The last used mode is maintained. Press [MAX] again to return to normal mode.

Emptying the Bin
Empty the bin before it reaches the MAX line. Press the red button on the side of the bin to open the bottom. Press again to detach the bin from the main unit. Seal the bin in a plastic bag to minimize dust exposure.

Brush Cleaning
Steps to remove and clean brushes:
- Use a coin ? to turn the screw next to the lock symbol ? counter-clockwise a quarter turn to unlock.
- Slide out the large brush carefully.
- Remove the cap from the large brush (do not wash the cap).
- Lift the small brush from its octagonal end.
- Rinse brushes with cold water, gently rubbing to remove dust and debris (do not use hot water or detergent).
- Dry brushes completely for at least 24 hours.
- Reassemble by inserting the small brush, then the large brush. Secure caps and screws.

LED Indicators
Battery LED:
- Blue (solid): Charging
- Blue (off): Charging complete
- Blue (flashing): Low battery
- Blue (fast flashing): Charging error (e.g., temperature)
- Yellow (flashing): Charging error (e.g., temperature)
- Red (flashing): Error (contact Dyson Customer Service)
Unit LED:
- Blue (solid): Operating

Charging the Battery
Charge the battery. Charging is complete when the blue LED light turns off (approx. 3.5 hours).

Attachments
Combination Nozzle: The brush extends or retracts for use on different surfaces. Use the extended brush for delicate floors.
Crevice Tool: Ideal for narrow gaps and hard-to-reach areas.
Storage Bracket
Attach the storage bracket to the wall using appropriate screws (not included). Ensure it is securely mounted. Detach the unit by pulling it away from the bracket.

Troubleshooting & Maintenance
Blockages: If the vacuum becomes blocked, stop use immediately and unplug the charger. Check all connections for obstructions and remove them. Ensure the bin is securely attached before resuming use.
Brush Obstructions: To remove obstructions from the rotating brush: Use a coin to turn the screw next to the lock symbol ? in the direction of the arrow ?. Remove the brush. Clear any obstructions. Reattach the brush and turn the screw in the direction of the arrow ? to lock it securely.
Filter Care: Filters require regular cleaning. Clean with cold water at least monthly, or more often depending on usage. Rinse until water runs clear. Squeeze out excess water. Dry completely for at least 24 hours. Never use the vacuum with a wet filter or without a filter.
Auto Shut-off: The unit has an auto shut-off feature to protect the motor. If airflow is obstructed, the unit may shut off. Allow it to cool, clear any obstructions, and resume operation. Ensure all parts are correctly fitted.
General Usage Guidelines
Operation: Use indoors or in cars. Avoid inverting or laying the unit sideways. Be cautious of the carbon fiber brush, as it may cause skin irritation. If irritation occurs, wash hands. For MAX mode, pull the trigger and press the [MAX] button.
Flooring Use: Check manufacturer guidelines for carpets and flooring. The rotating brush may cause damage or excessive wear on certain carpets or floors. Use the combination nozzle for delicate surfaces or if the brush causes fuzzing. Check the cleaner head and brush for debris before use on glossy floors to prevent scratching.
Maintenance: Only use Dyson-specified parts. Store indoors. Do not use or store below 3°C (37°F). Clean with a dry cloth only. Avoid lubricants, cleaners, or sprays. Be cautious when vacuuming sand or dirt, as it can scratch floors. Clean the cleaner head and unit after use.
Suction Precautions: Do not use without the clear bin or filter. Vacuum fine dust in small amounts. Avoid vacuuming liquids, wet debris, glass, needles, or pet waste. Static electricity may occur on carpets; avoid touching the bin or inserting foreign objects immediately after cleaning. Clean the bin with a damp cloth. Be careful when cleaning stairs. Do not lean the unit against furniture. Do not force attachments. Avoid prolonged contact with one spot on sensitive floors.
Cleaning the Bin and Parts
Emptying Bin: Empty the bin before the 'MAX' line is reached. Ensure the unit is unplugged. Recommended to remove pipe and head for easier emptying. Press the red button to open the bottom, then press again to detach the bin. Seal the bin in a plastic bag to minimize dust exposure. Reattach the bin securely.
Cleaning Bin: Ensure the unit is unplugged. Remove the bin. Clean with a damp cloth. Do not use detergents, polishes, or air fresheners. Do not use washing machines or dishwashers. Clean the cyclone mesh with a dry cloth or brush. Ensure the bin is completely dry before reassembly.
Washable Parts: Brushes and filters are washable. Follow specific cleaning instructions for each part. Ensure all parts are completely dry before reinstallation.
Battery Information
Battery Storage: The battery automatically stops if exposed to temperatures below 3°C (37°F) to protect the motor and battery. Do not charge or store in freezing temperatures. Charge the battery after it has cooled down. Avoid letting the battery surface touch the floor or objects during use.
Battery LEDs: Indicate charging status, low battery, or errors.
Battery Replacement/Disposal: Contact Dyson Customer Service for battery replacement. Use only Dyson-approved batteries and chargers. Do not disassemble, modify, heat, or incinerate batteries. Handle leaks with care, washing affected skin/eyes and seeking medical attention if necessary. Dispose of batteries according to local regulations.
Warranty Registration & Terms
Registration: Register online at www.dyson.co.jp or by mail using the provided form to activate your 2-year manufacturer's warranty.
Warranty Terms: Covers manufacturing defects from the date of purchase. Dyson provides free repair or replacement. Service is performed by Dyson. Valid only in Japan.
Warranty Exclusions: Not covered: damage from improper use, lack of maintenance, commercial use, unauthorized modifications, foreign objects, normal wear and tear (consumables like brushes, battery life), natural disasters, incorrect voltage, use outside Japan, missing registration details.
