BroadLink Quick Start Guide

This guide provides quick setup instructions for BroadLink devices, enabling smart control of your home appliances.

Works with: G Google Assistant, ?️ Alexa

PASO 1: ¿Qué necesitas?

Before you start, ensure you have the following:

• Internet connection
• WiFi Router
• Smartphone or Tablet (iOS 9.0 / Android™ 4.1 or higher)
• Power supply
• USB connection

Device Preparation:

• Turn on the device and check if the LED indicator is blinking intermittently.
• Connect your phone to your home WiFi network (ensure it's a 2.4GHz network).

PASO 2: Descarga la APP

Download the latest version of the "BroadLink" APP:

? GET IT ON Google Play

PASO 3: Registro en la APP

Open the "BroadLink" APP:

• Select "Account" and enter your registration details.
• If you don't have an account, you can create a new one.
• Optionally, link your account with Apple ID or Google for faster future access.

Account options: G Google Account, ? Apple ID, ? Cuenta Broadlink

PASO 4: Agregar dispositivo en APP

In the APP, tap the "+" icon ➕ in the top right corner and choose "Add device".

The APP will start scanning and searching for compatible devices, looking for SSIDs starting with "BroadLink_WiFi_Device". This process may take about 1 minute.

PASO 5: Conectar dispositivo a red WiFi

Select your WiFi network and enter the password.

Tap "Connect". Observe the LED blinking slowly once connected.

Choose the room and name for your device.

PASO 6: Añadir aplicaciones IR

Tap "Add applications".

Select a category (e.g., TV) and then a brand. Locate the IR remote that best matches your device.

If your brand is not found, select "No puedo encontrar mi marca..." to program buttons manually.

Example categories/devices: ? TV, ❄️ Aire acondicionado, ? Decodificador, ?️ Smart TV Box, ? Ventilador, ? Bombilla, ? DVD, ? Audio, ? Amplificador.

PASO 6.2: Si no se detecta el mando

If your brand is found but options are limited, tap "Programación botón".

PASO 6.3: Aprender botón IR

Select a room and name for the application.

Tap "Usar dispositivo ahora" and then the gray button to memorize it.

Follow the assistant's steps to memorize the button and check the result.

PASO 6.4: Notas sobre programación IR

Pulsación corta (Short Press):

• Aim your remote control at the universal remote. Wait for the LED to illuminate for a short press of the desired button.
• If the button was not recognized correctly, tap "..." in the top right corner and select "Volver a programar botones" (Reprogram buttons).

Pulsación larga (Long Press):

• Choose a room for the application and give it a name.
• Tap "Utilizar dispositivo ahora" and the gray button to program it.
• If you have the physical remote, bring it close and follow the assistant's steps by pressing a button.

PASO 7.1: Aplicaciones RF (Solo RM4 pro)

Select "Add applications".

Choose a category (e.g., Cortina - Curtain) and a brand.

Ensure the RM-PRO is in programming mode. Tap "Usar dispositivo ahora" and follow the instructions.

If you don't know your brand, try a different brand and return to Step 7.2.

Example RF devices: ? Decodificador, ? Ventilador, ? Bombilla, ? DVD, ? Altavoz, ? Amplificador, ? Proyector, ⚡ Interruptor, ?️ Cortina.

PASO 7.2: Programación RF

Enter the frequency: Mhz

Paso 7.3: Si no tienes el mando (RF)

If you don't have the physical remote, you can enter the frequency and ensure it's an RF remote.

Press the power button ⚡ [Power button] and perform the learning process in the APP.

Repeat the process for all necessary buttons and continue to Step 8.

PASO 8: Descargar Google Home o Alexa

Download the latest version of the Alexa or Google Home APP.

• From Alexa: Tap "☰" and choose "Skills & Games". Tap the search icon ? to find and activate the "Broadlink" Skill.
• From Google Home: Tap the "+" sign ➕, choose "Set up device". Select "Works with Google" and search for "Broadlink".

PASO 9: Unir cuenta

Tap "Cuenta Broadlink" and register.

Link your email with Apple ID or Google for faster future access (optional).

Complete the connection with the Skill. This may take up to 45 seconds.

PASO 10: Detectar dispositivos

Alexa is searching for devices.

This may take up to 45 seconds.

After detecting devices, you can control them via the APP or your voice.

If configuring a second device, an Alexa notification will appear after Step 6, or the device can be found in Google Home or Alexa within a few minutes.

1. Help Center in APP: Access the BroadLink APP. Tap on the top section to access the APP's help and functions. Tap "Feedback" to send a report about your query.
