Troubleshooting

  1. Cannot add a device to the app.

Ensure the Wi-Fi network operates on the 2.4 GHz band and the password does not contain more than 32 non-specific characters. Ensure there are not too many devices on the network (not more than 15, including phones, tablets, laptops).

  2. Failed to learn code.

Please read the instructions before learning to identify the type of remote control and make the correct selection. When learning IR, briefly press the button on the remote control, while when learning RF, press and hold the button.

  3. Cannot find my device in the Alexa and Google Home app.

Alexa and Google Home recognize slave devices (IR and RF devices) and not the universal remote control itself. Ensure IR and RF devices can be controlled from external networks in the BroadLink app before being detected by Alexa and Google Home.

  4. How to use the HTS2 sensor cable?

If you purchased a product with a sensor cable and use it with a universal remote control, temperature and humidity data will automatically appear in the app when you add the universal remote control.

Important Notes

  • Please select a suitable adapter with a 5V DC 1A output.

Environmental Protection

Electronic waste marked with the European Union directive symbol must not be disposed of with other municipal waste. It is subject to separate collection and recycling at designated points. By ensuring their proper disposal, potential negative consequences for the environment and human health will be prevented. The used equipment collection system complies with local environmental regulations for waste disposal. Detailed information on this matter can be obtained from your municipality, the recycling plant, or the store where you purchased the product.

Li-Ion Battery

The device is equipped with a Li-Ion (lithium-ion) battery, which, due to its physical and chemical structure, ages over time and with use. The manufacturer specifies the maximum operating time of the device under laboratory conditions, where optimal operating conditions for the device prevail and the battery itself is new and fully charged. Actual operating time may differ from that stated in the offer and this is not a defect of the device but a characteristic of the product. To maintain maximum battery life, it is not recommended to discharge the battery below 3.18 volts or 15% of its total capacity. Lower values, such as 2.5 V for a single cell, will permanently damage it and this is not covered by the warranty. If you do not use the battery or the entire device for more than one month, charge the battery to 50% and periodically check the charge level every two months. Store the battery and device in a dry place, away from sunlight and negative temperatures.
