Indicator Description

• Blinks quickly (5 times/s): The device is in Smart Setup mode (awaiting addition).
• Blinks intermittently: The device is in AP Setup mode (awaiting addition).
• Blinks slowly, then turns off: The device is configuring and adding to the network.
• Blinks slowly continuously: The device cannot connect to the network or is disconnected from the network.
• Blinks once: An IR or RF signal is being sent.

Reset for AP Configuration

When the device is in any state, press and hold the reset button with a pin for 5 seconds until the LED starts blinking intermittently. DO NOT hold for longer than 10 seconds, otherwise the device will enter Smart Setup mode.

Reset for Smart Setup

When the device is in any state, press and hold the reset button with a pin for 10 seconds until the LED starts blinking quickly.

Troubleshooting

1. Cannot add the device in the application.
   • Ensure the Wi-Fi network operates on the 2.4GHz band, and the password contains no more than 32 non-special characters.
   • Ensure there are not too many devices on the network (no more than 15, including phones, tablets, laptops).
2. I tried to learn the code, but it always failed. What can I do?
   • Please refer to the instructions before starting the learning process to identify the remote type and make the correct selection.
   • During IR learning, briefly press the button on the remote; during RF learning, hold the button.
3. Cannot find the device in the Alexa and Google Home applications. How can I fix this?
   • Alexa and Google Home recognize sub-devices (IR and RF devices), not the universal remote itself.
   • Ensure that IR and RF devices can be controlled from external networks in the BroadLink application before detection in Alexa and Google Home.
4. How to use the HTS2 sensor cable?
   • If the product was purchased with a sensor cable and used with the universal remote, temperature and humidity data will automatically display in the application after adding the universal remote.
