Important Warnings and Cautions
- WARNING: 120 volts can cause serious injury or death. Always disconnect electrical power to the furnace before installation.
- WARNING: Sharp edges may cause injury. Handle components with care.
- CAUTION: Do not set humidity levels too high, as this may result in condensation damage.
- CAUTION: Avoid mounting the control on supply plenums or ducts, as unit temperatures may cause malfunction.
Installation Steps Overview
Follow these steps for a successful installation:
- Unpack and Verify Components: Ensure all parts, including the Humidifier Control, Outdoor Temperature Sensor, and Manual Mode Label, are present.
- Prepare the Control: Remove the door from the Humidifier Control.
- Check Mode Switch: Set the BYPASS/POWER switch according to your humidifier model.
