Installation
Choose Location
Select a dry, clean, and smooth surface for mounting the LED strip.
Prepare Surface
Clean the mounting area thoroughly with a dry cloth to ensure proper adhesion.
Mount Strip
Peel off the protective backing from the adhesive on the LED strip. Carefully press the strip firmly onto the prepared surface.
Connect Power
Connect the power adapter to the LED strip's connector and then plug the adapter into a standard wall outlet.
Setup
Download App
Search for "Energizer Smart" in your device's app store (e.g., Apple App Store or Google Play Store) and download the application.
Power On & Pairing Mode
Ensure the light strip is plugged in. The indicator light on the strip should begin to blink rapidly ⚡, signaling it is ready for pairing.
Pair Device
Open the Energizer Smart app. Create an account or log in. Tap the "+" icon to add a new device. Follow the on-screen instructions to connect the light strip to your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network.
Name Device
Once the connection is successful, you can assign a name to your light strip (e.g., "Living Room Lights") for easier control.
Usage
- Control colors, brightness levels, and various lighting effects directly through the Energizer Smart app.
- Set custom schedules and timers for your light strip to turn on or off automatically.
- This light strip is compatible with popular voice assistants such as Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. Refer to the Energizer Smart app for detailed setup instructions for voice control.
Troubleshooting Tips
- If the LED strip does not blink, try unplugging the power adapter for 10 seconds and then plugging it back in.
- Ensure your Wi-Fi network is operating on the 2.4GHz band, as the device may not support 5GHz networks for initial setup.
