The package includes the following components:

Not Included: Phillips head screwdriver, antenna cable, broadband internet connection.
Standard Remote Control
This TV comes with two remote controls:
- Standard remote control for classic, no-frills experience.
- DVD remote control for DVD combo use only.
Remote Button Functions:
- Power: Press to enter or exit standby mode.
- TV/RAD: Press to switch between TV and Radio.
- Search: Open recommended content or search.
- SUBTITLE: Turn on/off subtitles.
- Source: Displays the list of input source channels.
- Settings: Open Quick Settings menu.
- Number buttons: Press to select channels or input passwords.
- LIST: Check saved programs.
- QUICK ACCESS: Long-press 0 to add Quick Access.
- Additional Functions: Displays additional functions, for example Sports mode.
- AD: Press to turn audio description on or off.
- GUIDE: Opens the Electronic Program Guide in DTV mode.
- +/-: Adjust the volume up or down.
- Channel Up/Down: Scroll channels.
- Mute: Toggle sound on/off.
Additional Standard Remote Buttons:
- Play: Play media and recorded content, resume Live Playback.
- Pause: Pause media and recorded content, pause Live Playback.
- Home: Jump to the home page.
- BACK: Go to the previous menu.
- EXIT: Exit the current program.
- Direction buttons: Navigate menus and settings.
- OK button: Select the current item or confirm selection.
- TEXT: Teletext on/off.
- T.OPT: Teletext options.
- MOVIES: Search movies.
- Stop: Stop recording, stop media playback, and start Live Playback function.
- REC: Initiate recording.
- NETFLIX: Open app homepage.
- Prime Video: Open app homepage.
- Colour buttons: Navigational use within apps.
*Note: Teletext is no longer available in Australia. Depending on your region, this function may or may not be applicable.
DVD Remote Control
- Power (): Press to enter or exit standby mode.
- Eject (): Eject or loads the disk from DVD module.
- Arrows (▲/▼/◄/►): Press the UP/DOWN/LEFT/RIGHT buttons to navigate the on-screen menus and adjust the system settings.
- OK: Enter and confirm button.
- Play and Pause (►/||): Play and Pause multimedia file.
- Stop (): Press to stop play in media mode.
- TITLE: Return to DVD title menu.
- Setup: Show DVD setup menu.
- Menu: Accesses the Main Menu.
Assembly and Installation
Before You Get Started
Spread cushioning flat to lay the TV on. This will help to prevent damage.
1. Stand Assembly
- Attach stands to the base of the TV, ensuring ‘L’ and ‘R’ markings on the TV and stand match.
- Insert four PB4 x 12mm screws and use a Phillips head screwdriver (not supplied) to tighten.

2. Remote Control Assembly
- Open the battery compartment cover on the back side.
- Insert batteries (x2 1.5V AAA for the standard remote, x2 1.5V AAA for the DVD remote), making sure to match the polarity markings (+/-) with the diagram inside the compartment.
- Replace the battery compartment cover.

3. Connect to Antenna
- Connect an antenna cable (not supplied) via the 'ANT' input port at the back of the TV.
- Ensure the antenna cable is also connected to a working antenna, either via an antenna wall socket or directly.

4. Turning TV On
Plug the power cord into a suitable power outlet, then press the POWER (U) button on the remote control, aiming it at the sensor at the front of the TV. Alternatively, press the power button on the lower side of the back panel.
Turning TV Off
Press the POWER (U) button on the remote control to enter standby mode. To power down completely, unplug the power cord. Do not leave the TV in standby mode for long periods; unplug it from the power outlet and aerial if not in use.
TV Buttons
- POWER()/OK: Turns the TV on and off. Short press as a confirm button when powered on.
- VOL+: Increases volume. In the TV menu, acts as the right arrow.
- VOL-: Decreases volume. In the TV menu, acts as the left arrow.
- CH▲: Scans up through channels. In the TV menu, acts as the up arrow.
- CH▼: Scans down through channels. In the TV menu, acts as the down arrow.
- INPUT: Displays the Source Select List.
- MENU: Displays the TV Main Menu.
Inputs and Ports
The TV features the following inputs and ports:
- 1: DC in
- 2: Digital audio (Optical out)
- 3: Composite video and audio (RCA)
- 4: Ethernet port (LAN)
- 5: Antenna
- 6: HDMI (x3; ARC support on HDMI 2)
- 7: USB 2.0 (x2; 5V ===500mA)
- 8: Headphone jack (3.5mm line out)

First Time Setup
Upon first power-on, a Welcome screen will appear. Press the OK button to begin.
Use the Direction buttons (▲/▼/◄/►) to navigate the following options:
- Language Settings: Select the on-screen display (OSD) language.
- Country Settings: Select the on-screen display Country.
- Internet Connection:
- Wired: Connect an Ethernet cable to the 'LAN' port.
- Wireless (Wi-Fi): Scan for nearby networks, ensure you are within range of your modem/router, and enter your password.
- Programme Tuning: Select the on-screen display Programme Tuning modes.
- Connect to LG ThinQ: Connect your TV with LG smart home devices and smartphones. Scan the provided QR code (for Android or iOS) with your smartphone and follow the prompts.
NOTE: Service availability may differ depending on country or region.
Home Dashboard
Select or control connected devices via the TV. Press the (৫) button on the remote and select Home Dashboard. Operations can be performed according to on-screen prompts.

- Check and select external devices connected via input ports or network.
- Connect your mobile device to share its screen and enjoy stored content.
- Check and control devices connected via Home IoT. Refer to the User Guide for details.
- Log in or out with your LG ThinQ account.
- Edit Inputs: Edit connected device names or apply settings.
- Edit home IoT devices: Hide, show, or rearrange connected Home IoT Devices.
- Notification: Turn notifications on or off.
- Universal Control Settings: Access the Universal Control Settings app.
- User Guide: Access the User Guide app.
- Quit App: Turns off the app running in the background.
- Closes the app.
Home Menu
Access the home screen by pressing the HOME button on the remote. Enjoy webOS TV's smart functions by connecting to a network.

- Log in to your LG Account or view account information.
- Search: Launch search for apps and content.
- Returns to the most recently used TV or external input.
- Run, move, and delete installed apps. The App List is shown on screen each time the TV is turned on.
- To change the Homescreen display, adjust 'Home Auto Launch' settings via General -> System -> Additional Settings -> Home Settings.
Manage Home
Manage webOS TV Home. View, change positions, or delete installed apps. Perform operations according to on-screen prompts.

Quick Settings
Press the (⚙️) button on the remote to display the quick settings menu (picture mode, sound mode, sleep timer, etc.). Add/delete items or change their order. Press OK to go to the corresponding menu, and use ◄/► to select options.

Using Live Menu
Access features easily when watching TV broadcasts by pressing the LIST button on the remote.

- Programmes: View a list of currently broadcast content.
- Guide: View programmes and their schedules.
- TV Scheduler: Schedule programme watching or recording.
Settings Menu
Press the (⚙️) button and select the menu to enter.

- Picture: Adjust picture mode, contrast, brightness, colour, sharpness, tint, colour temperature, aspect ratio, etc.
- Sound: Adjust audio settings, including sound modes, sound out selection, balance, equalizer, digital sound output, and more.
- General: Access settings for Accessibility, AI service, language options, Subtitles, parental guidance, password protection, Programmes, Network, System, HDMI Settings, Energy Saving, and more.
- Support: View system and app information, end-user license agreement, and install software updates (via USB).
USB Media
Connect a USB storage device to the TV's USB port to enjoy stored content. Select photos, videos, and music from the Media Player app.

Basic Troubleshooting
Many minor issues can be resolved by hard resetting or power cycling the unit, or upgrading the firmware.
Performing a Hard Reset/Power Cycle:
- Unplug the TV from the main power socket for 10-15 minutes.
- Press and hold the power button on the TV for 5 seconds.
- Reconnect the TV to power and turn it on.
USB Device Not Recognised:
- This TV requires a minimum of 64GB storage for Live Playback and Recording.
- Ensure the drive is formatted for FAT32 before use. Format the drive using a computer beforehand.
Poor Picture and Sound Quality:
- Try a different channel.
- Adjust the antenna.
- Check all connections.
No Picture or Sound:
- Try another channel.
- Press the TV/AV button.
- Ensure the TV is plugged in.
- Check the antenna connection.
No Sound or Sound Too Low:
- Check volume settings on external speakers.
- Check another channel or input.
- Ensure MUTE is not activated.
No Colour, Wrong Colour, or Tints:
- Ensure the program itself is broadcast in colour.
- Select the picture menu, then adjust colour and tint submenus.
Picture Rolls Vertically:
- Check all connections.
Blurred or Snowy Picture, Distorted Sound:
- Check antenna direction, location, and connections.
- Issues may be caused by an indoor antenna (poor signal).
Remote Control Malfunctions:
- Replace remote control batteries.
- Check battery polarity (+/-).
- Ensure the remote is within range and not obstructed from the IR sensor.
- Make sure the TV power cord is plugged in and turned on.
Image Not Centred:
- Adjust the horizontal and vertical position.
"No Signal" on HDMI Source:
- Test with a different HDMI cable or port.
- Try a different device connected to the same cable or port.
- Perform a factory reset on the TV.
