Product Contents

The package includes:

Diagram Description: An illustration shows all the included components laid out, including the main GTX unit, two speakers with pads, a boom microphone and a button microphone, a clamp mount, an adhesive mount, a USB-C cable, and the user manual.

Installation Instructions

Mounting the Bracket

1. Clamp Mount: Open the clamp and insert it into the helmet shell, then tighten to secure. (Refer to the illustration showing the clamp mechanism on a helmet).

2. 3M Adhesive Mount: In addition to the clamp mount, you can use the 3M adhesive mount. First, peel off the protective paper from the back of the 3M adhesive. Then, attach the adhesive side to the base of the mount, and then attach the mount to the left side of the helmet in the desired location. Press firmly for 15 seconds and allow the adhesive to cure for 24 hours. (Refer to the illustration showing the adhesive mount being applied to a helmet).

Notes: Although the 3M adhesive method is provided, LEXIN recommends installation using the clamp mount. The 3M adhesive mount is for optional use and is at your own risk. LEXIN accepts no responsibility for its use.

Mounting the Main Unit

Mount the LEXIN GTX main unit onto the bracket. The rear of the GTX unit has two raised square posts that align with corresponding square holes in the bracket.

Step 1: Align the square posts on the rear of the main unit with the square holes in the bracket.

Step 2: Push down until the tabs on the rear of the main unit engage with the bracket's square holes to complete the installation. (Diagram shows the main unit being attached to the bracket, with arrows indicating alignment and downward pressure).

Removing the Main Unit

To remove the main unit:

Step 1: Firmly press down on the tabs located above the bracket.

Step 2: Then, push the main unit upwards from the base to detach it. (Diagram shows pressing the tabs and then lifting the unit off the bracket).

Mounting the Headset Speakers

Note: The headset with the shorter cable is for the left ear, and the one with the longer cable is for the right ear. The speakers are attached inside the helmet liner. If the helmet has a deeper speaker position, you can use the included pads to bring the speaker closer to your ear.

Step 1: Place one half of the speaker's velcro onto the inner lining of the helmet.

Step 2: Firmly press the speaker onto the velcro strip. If the helmet's speaker position is too deep, you can use a pad to raise the speaker.

Step 3: Tuck the excess speaker cable between the helmet liner and the shell. (Diagram shows placing the speaker with velcro inside the helmet liner and tucking the cable).

Mounting the Microphone

Note: The button microphone and boom microphone can be interchanged between full-face and modular helmets. The choice depends on your preference and helmet type.

Full-Face Helmet / Button Microphone:

Step 1: Find a suitable spot on the chin bar of the helmet and attach the velcro side of the microphone to this area.

Step 2: Attach the button microphone to the secured velcro.

Step 3: Connect this microphone to the earphone connector. (Diagram shows the button microphone attached to the chin bar and connected to the headset).

Modular Helmet / Boom Microphone:

Step 1: Attach the velcro side to a suitable spot on the left interior of the helmet, then attach the boom microphone.

Step 2: Adjust the microphone's direction so that the triangular mark on the microphone points towards your mouth.

Step 3: If necessary, use the microphone support for additional positioning. (Diagram shows the boom microphone attached to the helmet interior, with an arrow indicating adjustment towards the mouth, and an optional support bracket).
