Installation Dimensions and Notes
The indoor unit requires specific clearances and mounting considerations for proper installation. Key dimensions and notes are as follows:
Unit Dimensions:
- Indoor Unit: 33-1/16 inches (840 mm) Width x 33-1/16 inches (840 mm) Depth x 11-3/4 inches (298 mm) Height.
- Package Dimensions: Approximately 34-19/64 inches (871 mm) Width x 35-35/64 inches (903 mm) Depth x 16-37/64 inches (421 mm) Height.
Mounting and Clearances:
- Suspension bolts required are M10 or W3/8.
- A minimum clearance of 1-3/4 inches (45 mm) or more (labeled 'E') is needed between the transom and the ceiling slab.
- Ensure at least 118-1/8 inches (3000 mm) of space above the indoor unit and the ceiling.
- Maintain at least 70-7/8 inches (1800 mm) of space from the floor below the unit.
- The electrical box can be removed for service access.
- The i-see Sensor is integrated into the grille's corner panel.
Connections:
- Refrigerant Piping: Gas pipe 5/8" O.D. (flared), Liquid pipe 3/8" O.D. (flared).
- Drain Pipe: Uses VP-25 (1-1/4 inch O.D. PVC tube). The condensate lift mechanism can raise water up to 33-7/16 inches (850 mm) from the ceiling.
- Branch Ducts: Knockouts are provided for fresh air intake and branch duct connections. Adequate insulation is crucial for branch ducts to prevent condensation and dripping.
