GYS PROTIG 201 AC/DC HF FV Welding Machine
Model: PROTIG 201 AC/DC HF FV
Part Numbers: PN. 061828 (without accessories), PN. 063945 (with accessories)
Welding Current Range: 10 - 200 A
Product Overview
The PROTIG 201 AC/DC is a professional TIG welding solution for all types of metal up to 4 mm thick, including steel, stainless steel, aluminum, copper, and titanium. It offers a high level of precision for various applications such as manufacturing, technical maintenance, and pipeline work.
Six AC/DC TIG Processes
- Welding Current: 10 - 200 A (AC TIG), 10 - 160 A (DC TIG).
- STANDARD DC TIG: Provides high-quality welding for all ferrous materials like steel, stainless steel, copper, and their alloys, as well as titanium.
- PULSED DC TIG: Controls melting temperature, limits deformation, and allows for effective sheet metal assembly from 0.3 mm thickness.
- SPOT DC TIG: For pre-assembly of ferrous metal parts by spot welding them in place.
- EASY AC TIG: Simplified operation with pre-set user parameters. The operator only needs to select the tungsten electrode diameter on the control panel.
- STANDARD AC TIG: Designed for welding aluminum and its alloys (Al, AlSi, AlMg, and AlMn). The alternating current effectively cleans the aluminum, ensuring a perfect weld.
- SPOT AC TIG: For pre-assembly of aluminum parts and accessories by spot welding them together.
Two MMA Welding Modes with Coated Electrode
- Welding Current: 10 - 160 A (MMA)
- STANDARD MMA: Uses basic and rutile electrodes up to Ø 4 mm.
- PULSED MMA: Facilitates welding in vertical-up position.
Designed for User Convenience
- Two Ignition Modes: HF (contactless) or ARC-LIFT (with contact) for sensitive environments.
- Three Trigger Control Modes:
- 2T: Maintain trigger pressure throughout the welding process.
- 4T: Press the trigger once to start welding, then press again to stop.
- 4T "LOG": Allows switching between two different welding currents by quickly pressing the trigger (hot and cold current).
- MMA Welding Aids:
- Anti-Stick: Reduces the risk of the electrode sticking to the workpiece upon contact.
- Hot Start: Assists in igniting the electric arc and can be adjusted based on the metal type being welded.
- Arc Force: This fully adjustable function regulates the arc length deviation.
- VRD (Voltage Reduction Device): Welding current is supplied only when the electrode touches the workpiece (not activated by default).
Robust Design for Any Environment
- Equipped with a reinforced chassis and shock protection.
- Compact and lightweight design.
- Displays current/voltage after welding (DMOS/QMOS).
- Stores up to 50 welding programs per process.
- Remote control connections available.
Advanced Power Source Technology
Flexible Power Supply
This device operates with a standard 230 V / 16 A or 110 V / 20 A socket, even during intensive on-site use or when using an extension cord (up to 100 m).
[Power Symbol] Flexible Voltage Input: 85V - 265V
Economical Power Consumption
PFC (Power Factor Correction): 30% energy saving. PFC technology reduces voltage peaks and regulates the power supply current. It allows the unit to operate using extension cords or battery power sources, and ensures better current stability during the welding phase.
Durable and Reliable
P400 PROTEC 400: The device can withstand accidental or permanent voltage fluctuations in the electrical network up to 400 V (lightning, power sources, load shedding, etc.).
[Generator Symbol] Generator Compatible (+/-15%): Protected and compatible with power generators.
