Installation and Setup

Operation
Starting and Stopping Recording
The dashcam typically starts recording automatically when the vehicle's ignition is turned on. Press the power button [Power symbol] to manually start or stop recording.
Recording Modes

- Event Recording: Automatically triggered by the G-sensor during collisions or sudden impacts. These files are protected from overwriting.
- Parking Mode: Records when motion or impact is detected while the vehicle is parked. Requires a constant power supply.
Using the Mobile App
Download the Nakamichi dashcam app from your device's app store. Connect to the dashcam's Wi-Fi hotspot to view live footage, download recordings, and change settings.
Troubleshooting
Q1: The initial password of the recorder is 12345678. If you forget the password after changing it, please contact Nakamichi support.
If you encounter issues such as the dashcam not turning on, freezing, or not recording, try the following:
- Ensure the microSD card is properly inserted and formatted.
- Check the power connection.
- Reset the dashcam to factory settings using the reset button [Reset symbol] or through the app.
- Update the dashcam firmware if an update is available.
